Post subject:  The Abyss (from the Two Towers Soundtrack)

Hey,
I was looking over the booklet today for the Annotated Two Towers (found here http://www.lordoftherings-soundtrack.co ... _score.pdf ) and I noticed on pg. 28 when it says that the the lanugage for "The Abyss" is Adunaic. I was under the impression that the song was written in Khazdul :confused2: . I am quite familiar with Sindarin and Quenya (or the other Eldarin Languages for that matter...well at least on what we know of them) but I have yet to really study Tolkiens non-elvish lanugages so I am wondering if someone could please clear this up for me...is this song in Khazdul or Adunaic

Thanks :-D

It's written that it's Adûnaic, whereas it's actually Khuzdûl. Pseudo-Khuzdûl, anyway. None of the words are attested, though two out of twenty-eight actually have attested roots.

Thanks :-D That is what I had suspected...it didn't look like Adunaic to me, but as I am not too familiar with it so I couldn't be sure.
