I bought this map and I need a little help with decoding text which borders it. First I need to know in what style it's written in.
Can anyone help?

Is it possible that you could find a larger picture? The text is much to small to decipher.

Hmmmmmmm......be right back.
*5 minute later*
I checked in the back of RotK and it is most definantly Tengwar. I don't think there are a lot of vowels in Tengwar.

But is this any kind of language? Or just Tengwa letters put in a row?

That's most definitely English - just not in tehta mode. This is what I have read from this image:
tern lands beneath the sun the flowers may rise in spring, the trees may bud, the waters run, the merry finches sing. or
That's what I've got, anyway - what do you think?
(Whoeever wrote this wasn't too well educated in Tengwar, but that is what it's supposed to say, rather than what it actually says.)

well you already got it translated but i though i would just let you know that the vowels are actually what is english we would call accent marks and it depends on how you place them as to wich language it is

I know what that song is!! I recognise it because I was reading it last night. It is the song that Sam sings when he is trying to find Frodo in the Tower of Cirith Ungol!! YAY ^_^
Here it is in full...
In Western lands beneath the Sun
the flowers may rise in Spring,
the trees may bud, the waters run,
the merry finches sing.
Or there maybe 'tis coudless night
and swaying beeches bear
the Elven-stars as jewels white
amid their branching hair.
Though here at journey's end I lie
in darkness buried deep,
beyond all towers strong and high,
beyond all mountains steep,
above all shadows rides the Sun
and Stars for ever dwell:
I will not say the Day is done,
nor bid the Stars farewell.
If you would like to look it up, the book I have is "The Return of the King" published by Harper Collins and you can find it in almost any good bookshop, it is black with dwarf runes around the top and bottom and a green circle in the center with a shiny black picture around it.

[sorry to double post] even if you had an extremely good knowledge of Tengwar (not boasting but I do know it very well) you would have a hell of a time translating that, I tried to decipher it after I realised what the poem was, to see if it matched up, and although you can see that it is meant to be that poem, it is encredibly badly written. I think it is shamefull that people are selling LotR merchandise containing poorly written languages. It is a disgrace to the beauty of Tengwar.
