I am not familiar with the vocabulary in Quenya...you might want to check our Helge Fauskangers Quenya wordlist found here: http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/wordlists.htm .

As for Sindarin I don't think that there is a word that exists for Perfect or Faultless. I might have a reconstrusted word somewhere in my collected lists but I don't have them with me at the moment....besides I think I might have a good substitute for you (thus you won't need to refer to reconstructions).

You could try using the word "Fanuilos" which appears in the Elvish Hymn to Elbereth. "Fanuilos, le linnathon" (Fanuilos , we sing to thee). Fanuilos is one of those interesting words that can be rather hard to translate with common translations being "Ever-white" or "Snow White" but Mr. Fauskanger gives a rather good analysis found here: http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/elbereth.htm

I'll go ahead and quote the part in question...Look at the bolded/underlined portions.

"Fanuilos is translated "Ever-white". There are three elements: Fân, fan- means "veil", but also connotes the Quenya cognate fana, used of the physical shapes that the Valar put on when presenting themselves in visible form. Ui means "ever", while -los must be a lenited and reduced form of gloss, "snow-white". The whole, Tolkien explains, therefore means "bright (angelic) figure ever white (as snow)" (RGEO:74). A slightly different explanation is given in Letters:278; here the element fan- is also said to mean "white": "Everwhite is an inadequate translation, as is equally...show-white... The element ui (Primitive Elvish oio) means ever; both fan- and los(s) convey white, but fan connotes the whiteness of clouds (in the sun); loss refers to snow." "

So Fanuilos may be a good word to use if it fits the meaning your looking for. I hope this helps :-D

Could someone please translate the following quote from the Tale of Arwen & Aragorn for me? It would be nice if it could be in Sindarin and Quenya, but only one version is okay as well.

"I will cleave to you Dunádan and turn from the twilight. Yet there lies the land of my people and the long home of all my kin."

Thanks in advance! :)

In Quenya: Himyuvanyel, Núnatan, ar autuluva undómillo. Ananta tanomë ëa i nórë lienyo ar i már andavë ilyë nossenyo.

Literally "I will cleave to you, Dúnadan, and come away from the twilight. Yet there is the land of my people and the home (for long) of all my kin."

I was wondering if anyone could translate the word "fly" into quenya and sindarin, then transcribe them into tengwar?

I'm getting a tattoo, I'll be sure to post pictures!

If I remember correctly the Quenya word for "Ring" would would be "Corma" but more than that though I can't really comment on.

For Sindarin I don't believe Tolkien ever created a word for "Ring". However, I've noticed a commonly used reconstruction by Ryszard Derzinski based on "Corma". "Corf" with the plural "Cyrf" would be reconstructed Sindarin for "Ring(s)". Mr. Derszinski has also made and excellent translation of the Ring Verse...found here http://www.elvish.org/gwaith/language.htm .
