I'm going to be getting a purity ring, and I found a place I can buy a very nice gold one and engrave what I want in the Elvish font. I asked the people and I am able to translate whatever I want to Elvish to put on the ring in the font. However, I'm having trouble translating a verse I want to put on it.. can anyone please help me translate Psalm 51:10 to Elvish?

Create in me a pure heart
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Any help is much appreciated!

Here you go :)

Á onta níssë poica órë
ar ceuta voronda fëa mi ní.

Literally translates to:
Create in me a pure heart/mind
and renew a steadfast(with the sense of keeping oath or promise i.e. faithful) spirit/soul within me.

Glad to help!

I've transcribed them for you using the Tengwar Annatar font, regular and italic and bold.

Hi Guys,

I was wondering if someone could pleaseee help me out to translate "Immortality shall not be granted to a broken soul" to elvish script.

If someone can give it a go that would be AMAZING!

Please and Thankyou!

Transcribed in an Elven script (which one?) or did you mean that you wanted it translated into an Elven language (which one?)?

I think she just meant to write it in the Elvish script but to keep the language English?

That would be my guess too, but it's quite often that people say one and mean the other.

I know right? :) So what I usually do is I just do everything, translation, transcription, and both together :P

Hi, all!
This is one of my favorite poems from Tolkien, and I was wondering if anyone would be able to translate it into elvish for me. I know it's a tall order, but if someone could do it, that would be amazing! :)

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though I oft have passed them by,
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun.

Suilaid!

I need help translating this into Sindarin.I would be much appreciated if someone can translate a poem I made for me and my boyfriend.

No matter how things goes,
No matter what people will say,
My love for you shall not fade,
Because you're my Romeo,and I'm your Juliét.

Hannon le, mellon nin.

Agh, so much poetry! Poetry is really hard to do. It takes a long time and there are a lot of things to consider, like: What language and dialect do you want it in? Do you want it to have some sort of poetic rhyme/meter?

@Silvermaiden Son of Anar, Do you want the names in it translated or just phonetically approximated?

I think that I'd like it in the common elvish tongue used in Middle Earth... is that Sindarin? Forgive me, but I'm something of a Tolkien language novice.

Western Sindarin, Lothlorien-Sindarin, or Mirkwood-Sindarin?

Hmm... let's say Lothlorien Sindarin. :)

Still round the corner there may wait
A new road or a secret gate,
And though I oft have passed them by,
A day will come at last when I
Shall take the hidden paths that run
West of the Moon, East of the Sun.

Rather at the corner yonder they will wait
A new road or secret gate
And I walk frequently by them
A day will come at last
When I walk on secret paths that run to
West from the moon, East from the Sun.

Sennui, na nass ennas derithar
Men ‘wain egor annon thurin
A phadrannen laew a thin
Arad telitha na vedui
N’i badron po raid thyrin in yrir nad
Annûn od Ithil, Amrûn od Anor.
