Can somebody out there translate this for me, I don't care which one it is it's your choices. All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king. |

This poem has been translated many times into Elvish and it can be found on many sites... For example, I found this Sindarin translation at www.elvish.org/gwaith -- Pân i valt law thilia, Law pain i reviar mistar aen; Iaur i vell law thinnatha, Law thynd dyfn na-niss rathar aen. O lith naur echuiathar aen, Calad od dúath thuiatha; Adamminen i vagol vreithannen, Pen-thôl ad echannen i aran. I am sure I also saw a Quenya translation somewhere... I`ll see if I can find it. |
