I have found a FONT with Quenya, but it doesnt fit with the alphabvet I have found another place :/ http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_d ... 666,00.asp this is it, it is pretty great, but it doesnt match with this:http://www.omniglot.com/writing/tengwar.htm wich of these are true..? since they are different. I also thought it might be Sindarin, not Quenya..? |

I am usually not that fond of downloading things like these. It looks alright though. I always use an online transcriber, which an be found here: http://www.tengwar.art.pl/tengwar/ott/start.php?l=en select PNG and it can be set to Sindarin, Quenya and Black speech. there's also a lot in varity in fonts as well. |

hopw does it work? io have set it to PNG, I chosed Qyenya, then what..? and I cant write anywhere :/ |

have you tried downloadeing the ones from www.arwen-undomiel.com? I think they're under media. |

If you download one of those font's to the computer, you have to learn where all the letters are situated, because the don't correspond with those on the keyboard. If I typed my name in with the tengwar font, it won't come out as "Nauriel" You'd have to type in somthing like "J';Lhgi" (I don't know for sure what the letters are, so that was just an example) That's why you have to actually understand Tengwar to use it on a keyboard. |
