What language did Luthien speak in? was it Quenya? |

It may have been. But seeing as her father was one of the Sindar (the greatest of the Sindar Lords) I would suggest that it is more likely she spoke Sindarin. |

I am quite sure she didnt speak quenya, at least not as a mother tongue. But it is highly possible she learned it later. I think she spoke Doriathin variation of Sindarin. |

She probably knew little to no Quenya, and even then it was probably only a few words or possibly (if they have these in ME) a pidgeon version of it. Why? Well, there was a ban on the Quenyan language in Beleriand. It's possible she may have learned it later in life, but unlikely. |
