Translate? If memory serves, that's not a language so that you know words of it.

I used to know it, but I forgot it when I learned Tengwar. It was a lot easier to learn than Tengwar. I think I will learn it again.

I taught myself how to write it, but I could never figure out why Tolkien put dots above and below some of the symbols on the grid in the appendixes.
Anyone know?

No cirth....in the back of the ROTK on the grid for cirth he put dots above and below some of them...though I don't know to witch they go

(I can write in several different forms of tengwar so I should know the difference

The cirth alphabet is pretty easy to learn. (easier than tengwar) But I don't know why he put dots over some of the letters. Perjaps its like the little dots over "i", and "j" they are supposed to be there, but its still perfectly legible if they arn't.

i can read something wriiten in Cirth english.
No i think the reason he put dots on some letters is that his Cirth is based on Furthark or the Runes. There are amny diffrent types of Runes all original stemming from the same ones. (but PM if you want to know more.)
In about 1200 the Dotted Runes emerged in Sweden. Unlike other runes it was set out like the Roman Alphbet and had very little mystical meaning. They spread from Scandinavia and some of Tolkiens Cirth will be based on them but now all, he was very careful as far as i can tell not to take to many runes from one Furthak.
