wow, thats a toughie. They both have wonderful artwork, each different and the same some how. I can't even begin to decide... I'd have to say.... Alan, no John, no Alan....no John. Alan Lee. But only by a small margin, i've seen more of Alan's work and I enjoy it immensely.
