Miriel, Yes lucky for Legolas he is indeed very fast. As far as I know their are no other mortal with an elf relationships that the ones that you listed. I do not think that LEowyn would be considered normal judging by their race either but I still like them together. I do not ship them just because they have the same color of hair either. If I did then I might have shipped Legolas with Galadriel. Now I would have found that very weird.
Their hair color being the same is a bonus but not the real reason why I ship them. To be completely honest I ship them because I think that their personalities would have been good for one another ...that their personalities would have meshed well (that is the main reason why i ship them), they are my favorite male and female characters, and on a side note they do look good together. (shrugs)
