1. You and your friend (who is even more obssessed than you) realize that Pangea (what earth looked like before the continents broke apart) looks a whole lot like middle earth.)

2. When you go on a caving trip with your science class, you and the above friend pretend you are in Shelob's tunnel and start to get freaked out because every shadow looks like a huge spider.

3. You can draw a map of Middle-earth better than you can draw a map of the USA (or whatever country you live in.)

Guilty of all of these (ha-ha)
