Elendil - but for perhaps an oddball reason: had he destroyed the One Ring in the Cracks of Doom as Elrond strenuously suggested after the Battle of Dagorlad, there would have been no "Hobbit" and "Lord of The Rings". Fangorn Forest or northern Mirkwood?

Fangorn - perhaps, I'll meet an Ent.

Awks! It was Isildur who failed to destroy the One RIng at the Cracks of Doom! *groan* Númenor. They managed three to four times as long a period before things started going wrong. Of course the end result for both places was ending up as ocean floor ... Live in Tookland or Buckland?

Hmph! Calaquendi in Middle-earth included the rebellious Noldor, especially Fëanor ... so I guess I'll go with Moriquendi.
Rohirrim or Dunlendings?

You forgot Vulcan ears! Can't say that I find the pointy-eared bit in any way helpful.
Lothlórien archery or Gondorian archery?

Armour of Rohan - less ornate.

Dinner with Bilbo, just no contest!

Bree because it might be a wee bit safer.
Would you rather own Andúril or Ringil?

Meh. No wonder that question looks like a re-run. Well, almost. Anyway, I'll re-run my post from the other site ... Arkenstone. Very bad idea, going down into the depths of Erebor to steal it from Thorin's tomb; but at least compared to heading off into basically outer space to steal the Silmaril from Eärendil, who seemingly casually dispatched Ancalagon the Black, "only" the mightiest dragon ever in the world - piece of cake. As an opponent in single-handed combat, face Smaug in Erebor or the Balrog in Moria? P.S. for simplicity's (read: laziness) sake, I also decided to re-run my question ...
