Every year i go through this phase where i go completely crazy about LotR, i read the three books as well as the Hobbit or any other book by Tolkien i can find again. I start searching for more pics or other random stuff and then paste them in this folder my friend gave. (coincidentally its red, like the red book of Bilbos.)
so anyway.. i was just wondering if anyone else goes through a LotR phase where they grow more obsesive about it than usual.
im a hobbit now! woot woot!!!

I got more obsessed early this past summer when I read the Silmarillion (more specifically I came back to it after getting bored and quitting after about 4 chapters ). So my obsession kind of comes in... slow waves. If that makes sense.

My obsession depends on my mood. Most of the time I am totally top-obsessed, but when I am tired I am a little less obsessed But my top-obsession lasts now for the past three years and is still going on

Lol yeah every few weeks I'll go through a "MUST HAVE LotR" phase. I read the books more, I research on the internet, etc.

I go through phases too. Sometimes more obsessed, sometimes less. However, with posting regularly here, I'm definetly starting to go more "all the time" obsessed.

Oooh, 'all-the-time' obsessed. There goes all my chances to do housework, etc.
The need/urge to read the books is a cyclical thing for me. It usually strikes after the holidays, when winter is at its thickest. But this year it's already underway, since I'm diving into the 'Unfinished Tales' when I should really be working on holiday gifts...
