OMG I can't believe this! My friend's dad had this old box set of original 1974 Ballantine LotR books lying around and he said my friend could give them to me, so I got them for free! I mean, HOW COOL is that?

The set consists of The Tolkien Reader and FotR, TTT, and RotK. I honestly feel like I could read the whole trilogy three times today!! They're all old and worn-out, it just feels so... authentic to read them!! OMG!!

I'll try and get a picture as soon as possible, provided I can find my camera... The box is red and it says "Tolkien" in silver letter at the top of both sides. It's decorated with the Heraldic Devices of random characters, most from The Silmarillion. I can't believe I got these!!

Oh! Cool!!!! I would die to have a whole old set!!!!
I have a FotR from 1966 (15th impression) that my Dad gave me (most prettyful map in the back!!!) but not a whole set, that is awsome. Wow!!!!

Still, I'm proud of my FotR.
