OOOOOOOH good!!! :bounce: A few bits of advice:

Go relatively early on a weekday. Weekends it is packed to the bursting.

It is reccomended to set aside at least an hour, but if you are really obsessed it can take more than 3.

Wear any LOTR clothing you have(people will ask you about the items, and then you can act smart :-D )

Your ticket will have an entry time on it. When you go in, you will be with a group of other people with that time. Either move really fast or really slow in the beginning so you are away from the group. You then have 15 minutes alone before the next group enters.

If you want to see the items again backtrack through the exhibit to the beginning, the security people don't care and if you leave there is no re-entry.

Go through once with your family, then backtrack and and look again by yourself. You can take more time and not be bugged by them.

In the first room after the entryway, look up. There are banners hanging from the cealing.

Be sure to look at the framed pictures on the walls, they are concept art by Lee and Howe.

In the first room there is a case full of elven weapons. Be sure to look on top of it because Gil-Galad's spear is up there.

In the second room there is a case with some of Gandalf's items and lots of papers from the Minas Tirith archives. On top is a sheet with the ring inscription on it. That is Isildur's account.

One more thing: Be sure to see dead Boromir
:-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Sadly, no. And yes, they had dead Boromir. It looked like he would open his eyes and sit up, it was so real(detail down to the veins in his hands :confused2: ) Creepy.

I KNOW!!! I wanted to see it in Boston last year too, but my parents wouldn't let me. I'll try to see it in Indiana though.

I may get to go see it in Indiana too. Did anyone else hear that The Lord of the Rings Symphony is performing tonight and tomorrow night in Pittsburgh, and BILLY BOYD IS PERFORMING HIS SONG WITH THEM!!!!????? I live only a few hours away, but my parents dont want to go. *Turns and looks at mother, gives her look that could curdle milk, hisses at her.* THEY ARE EVIL! We only went to the exhibition because we were visiting my grandparents, who live in houston.

I saw it!!!!!I saw the exhibit!!!!!IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!I loved all the costumes and oh I saw Gil-Galads spear and the Treebeard head was amazing!!!!I loved Arwens dresses especially the Requim dress, it was so detailed and beautiful up close!!!Galadriels dress was amazing too!!!!

The One Ring and the dead Boromir were the best part though!!!! I nearly had a heart attack when I saw the dead Boromir.....I thought he was real and he would all of a sudden wake up. He was SO realistic, the veins, the eyebrows, the eyelashes, the dirt on his face and hands, the fingernails......it was AMAZING!!!!!!

The One Ring was awesome the way they put it in that plastic tube and it looked magnified!!!!I loved the fire on the walls, it made it seem so, so, so......well like the ring was really a terrible thing.

The swords were all so intracate you would have never known about all the designs on them if you had not seen them that close.

I never even knew what the Dwarves,Mens and Elves rings looked like till now.....WOW!!!!!

The Elvish crowns and oh the leaf brooches, not to mention the Evenstar was so beautiful and detailed up close!!!!I wish we had been aloud to take pictures and I wish we could have touched stuff besides the few swords...that was cool though too.

Overall it was AWESOME!!!!!!!!Go if you can, it is SO worth it!!!!!! :)
