i went to see it and its an awsome musical.they pared down the story to its bare essentials as they have to fit all three books into one musical.the dances where amazing.how fit they have to be.the lady who playes galadriel has the best songs.shelob and the ine riders where really scary.the elves of lothlorian looked very much like they came from pulp sf like flash gordon.its not the movies and dose not try to be.its its own adaption.

Does anyone else think that Gladriel looks kind of stupid in the musical or am I the only one?

I'm not going to see the musical though, I have no way of getting there and I can't afford it. Is the musical as bad as the critics say? As it hasn't had great reviews

I did, I saw a preview of it on youtube and it was scary, plus I don't think she sings very well.

I didn't, but I thought her head piece looked a bit like crap legs. She had a really good voice though.

The guy who played Gullom did a very good job. I think aragorn lacked some emotion though.

That's the thing most critics have complained about, lack of emotion and how the audience doesn't get a chance to really feel for the characters
