I agree! My sister and I were talking about that last night because we were watching the behind the scenes of the DOS. It was about the music segment and we both agreed that Howard Shore was a genius when he did the music for this saga. We have both come to the conclusion that no one could have done it better! |

Yeah, he defenitely knew what he was doing! I am not sure how those composers figure out just how to make the music fit so well. It is like the music for starwars. It fits so perfectly. |

Yes! I definitely think music makes or breaks the scene. In ALL cases lotr/Hobbit, it totally makes it, by far!!! I could listen to movie soundtracks all day. Huge music geek, right here |

I had the music from the trilogy on my laptop and I liked to write fantasy stories as a hobby. I would often listen to the LOtR soundtracks while writing. It was perfect for that. I Would listen to it almost all day sometimes. |

I love that when I listen to the LotR soundtrack, I know exactly what the movie is doing. No dialogue, no pictures, just the music takes me there. |

I do the same thing. I'll be reading and a part of the music catches my attention and its like "oh, this is when they did this" |

Yeah, it's cool. There are a lotnof parts in the songs I am not completely sure where in the movie it is but there are some parts (mostly more epic parts). Where as soon as the music starts playing I know exactily what scene it is from and my mind starts playing the scene. |

I agree. It is very relaxing. It is almost like the Irish music of middle earth. Lol |

I love the Shire music. When Sam and Frodo flee Mt. Doom and they are just talking about things they remember, it gets me every time when Sam says..."Rosie Cotton dancing. She had ribbons in her hair. If ever I was to marry someone, it would've been her. It would've been her." Then he cries. Great moment. |

Agreed. That was a good moment and quote. . I also loved Frodo's quote. "I am glad that it's you, Sam. Here with me at the end of all things." |

'The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater. Some there are among us who sing that the Shadow will draw back, and peace shall come again. Yet I do not believe that the world about us will ever again be as it was of old, or the light of the Sun as it was aforetime. For the Elves, I fear, it will prove at best a truce, in which they may pass unhindered and leave the Middle-Earth for ever. Alas for Lothlórien that I love!' (Haldir) This gets to me every time I read it. |

Most Precious Gollum wrote: A lot of.quotes stick with me but a simple one does the most. When Faramir has flashback of Boromir before he leaves for Rivendell,.... Boromir: "remember today little brother, today life is good". Yes! It is a great quote. The EE scenes in Osgiliath were good until they brought the screenplay-written idiot Denethor in. |
