I think was already a thread on the 'old forum', but I'll bring it back cause it's an interesting little quiz:

I also got the purist result... even though I got into the LOTR craze through the movies.... :blush: is that sacreligious? After all, I did find out about it... does it matter how??? :erm: :(

I have an edge of almost 15 years. But even saying that...the Tolkien quiz thing that is posted on A-Us main page..I always score quite low-average on that.
All those questions are about Elves and what not, which just isn't my thing.

I'm a MUGGLE! It says I haven't read the books, and I think it's a grownup version of Harry Potter :( I feel like a terrible fan! That quiz is rigged!

Last time I took the quiz I was Purist. I enjoyed the books a little bit more than the movies.

Awww, poor Beri :( :hug: You're not a terrible fan! That quiz isn't my favorite; I thought all the slash-ish questions were a bit...odd. And it didn't really have fair options. The question about Liv Tyler was loaded - apparently in the mind of the quiz creator, one cannot be a true LotR fan and think she did a good acting job :annoyed2:
