Yup, My answers are kinda a Mixture of both Narnia and LOTR.
I guess I can post them:
Good Vs. Good:
Gandalf Vs. Aslan- Aslan
Aragorn Vs. Peter- Aragorn
Legolas Vs. Susan-I honestly have no idea
Gimli Vs. Edmund- Probably Gimli, He is pretty tough
Frodo Vs. Lucy-Probably a tie, Both of them aren't very skilled
Good Vs. Evil
Sauron Vs. Aslan- Aslan
The White Witch Vs. Gandalf- Gandalf
Frodo Vs. Maugrim- Frodo if Frodo had a Sword, Maugrim if Frodo didn't have a sword

They are just as good fighters, AND older, Not kids. And Centuars and Fauns would most likely be a good match for the Elves, And Aslan could most likely beat All of them just by breathing on them, Making him a tough match for Gandalf.
I happen to think Narnia is as well written as LOTR, It was written for Children to teach them the ways of christianity, Lewis wrote LWW to explain the story of Jesus to his God-Daughter. So Narnia was made for Children, So you don't really have any excuse to be calling it childish.
I like LOTR more then Narnia, As I have already stated. I am just trying to stand up for both of them. The people of Narnia(And Animals) are just as skilled as the LOTR characters if you ask me. Thats one of the reasons why I love them both so much and made this topic for fun.
I will say no more.
Please notice that i don't think it childlisch. I watched the movie and read a part of the book, and i thought it was ok. Tolkien thought it was childish. And yes, with some parts of the movie or the books, i agree. Like the talking animals and stuff...Okay, there are talking animals in Lotr, take Sam's pony. I just think Narnia was more written for children, as you said.

Yep, i thought so. In some parts of the book, he talks like 2 or 3 sentences.

I don't remember that either. Maybe you could post a quote by him from the book to help us all out?

I swear I have never read of him talking in the book ... that would be way too awkward! I mean, Narnia is totally non-realistic fantasy, so things like that don't come as a big surprise, but LotR is made to be quite realistic [[well ... realistic enough]] and a talking horse just does not fit into the story. Bill isn't even very important in the story.

I'm not finished reading the books, So I don't know if Bill talked or not. But I don't think he did, Thats just not Tolkien's style, Making talking animals.

Frodo Vs. Lucy: No one would win in this kind of battle. Frodo doesn't have much practice with a sword and niether does Lucy seeing as she's only a little girl. This fight definitely wouldn't be fair for either opponent.[/quote]
later..in Narnia Lucy does became a great Archer and Warrior..and it depends if your talking about Lucy gronw up or...her as a kid.
