Narnia Vs. LOTR

Post subject:  Narnia Vs. LOTR
I've always wondered, Who would win between Aslan and Sauron, Peter and Aragorn, Ect. So I'll see what you guys think! Here are my Vs. competitions.

Good Vs. Good:
Gandalf Vs. Aslan
Aragorn Vs. Peter
Legolas Vs. Susan
Gimli Vs. Edmund
Frodo Vs. Lucy

Good Vs. Evil
Sauron Vs. Aslan
The White Witch Vs. Gandalf
Frodo Vs. Maugrim


Thats all I can think of at the moment, But tell me your thoughts on who would win these battles, I'm not sure on most of them...

*sighs* But then all of the Ringers here are going to vote for all the LotR Characters and all the Narnia fans will vote for their Narnia Characters. I know I'd vote for all the LotR ones, no question...

I'll give it a shot not based on whom I like more.

Gandalf Vs. Aslan: Both have almost equal power as they both conquered death. They are both loving, and slow to anger. I don't think it would possible for either of them to win.

Aragorn Vs. Peter: If they both use swords I'd have to say that Aragorn would probably come out the victor here, seeing as he's had lots more practice and he's a grown man with more strength.

Legolas Vs. Susan: I see you paired up the two archers. If it were a competition of archery I think they'd be at for forever and still their wouldn't be a winner. If it was sword combat I hate to say that Legolas would most likely win as he's an Elf and far stronger than Susan.

Gimli Vs. Edmund: I'd have to say Gimli would win this one too. Even if Gimli is short he'd still be a lot stronger I'd say. Dwarves are particularly tough.

Frodo Vs. Lucy: No one would win in this kind of battle. Frodo doesn't have much practice with a sword and niether does Lucy seeing as she's only a little girl. This fight definitely wouldn't be fair for either opponent.

This is going to kill me...I'm a big fan of both. *sniffle* But I like them each for different reasons, so, I don't know, I guess I'll do it...aaarghh.

Gandalf Vs. Aslan
Aslan - he seems stronger to me, being a Lion and all.
Aragorn Vs. Peter
Aragorn is bigger and has more skill
Legolas Vs. Susan
Legolas is an elf, and a trained master. I absolutely love Susan, but she's sort of new to it.
Gimli Vs. Edmund
Gimli - he's pretty tough.
Frodo Vs. Lucy
Frodo has a sword. Lucy doesn't. But why would anyone kill Lucy? She's so sweet and innocent. ;)

I agree with all your thoughts, Larael. I've always wondered who would win between the characters of LOTR and Narnia, So I thought I would see what the members of this board thought.

Anyone have thoughts on my Good Vs. Evil matches?

Hmmmm....lets see.

Gandalf Vs. Aslan.
Very fair battle, hand to hand. (Or paw, for that matter) but Gandalf has a long range attack. he could light pinecones and throw them at Aslan! Seriously, I don't know.

Aragorn vs. Peter
Aragorn. He's been around for 87 years, and more than half of that time he's been practicing on a sword. Peter is a noob compared to him.

Legolas vs. Susan.
Susan would become a pincushion. Legolas would then go on preening himself

Gimli vs. Edmund
Gimli. Those dwarves are raging animals. They can't be contained.

Frodo vs. Lucy.
Well, if Frodo could get past her smiling innocent exterior, he would win. But as it is, Lucy is too cute to kill.

Sauron vs. Aslan
Aslan created the world by singing. I think he could take care of Sauron.

White witch vs. Gandalf
Gandalf. He's just so much cooler.

Maugrim vs. Frodo.
Maugrim would have eaten, digested, and excreted Frodo before the little hobbit even knew he was dead.

I see you've added more since I last replied.

Sauron Vs. Aslan and The White Witch Vs. Gandalf: I'd have to say that in these cases I believe that good always conquers evil in the end. So, Aslan would win against Sauron and Gandalf would win against the White Witch.

Frodo Vs. Maugrim: Poor Frodo... Maugrim would get 'em in an instant. Frodo never was to handy with a sword.

Actually Larael, Those have been up as long as the others, you probably didn't see them.

Not really :) Pwn is also a game term which u see experienced players saying. But what does it matter, were here for Lotr (Not Narnia ! )

Gandalf Vs. Aslan
I think that both of them would have a pretty good chance, seeing as they have almost equal amounts of power.

Aragorn Vs. Peter
I would have to say Aragorn, since he's better trained than Peter.

Legolas Vs. Susan
I agree with Larael. If they were both using the bow, it would go on forever - there would never be a winner between them, since I think that they are both very good at archery.

Gimli Vs. Edmund
Gimli. He's lots stronger than Edmund and Edmund doesn't have much practice in fighting.

Frodo Vs. Lucy
Well, I don't think that they would be able to fight with each other - they're both kind and don't really like fighting.

Sauron Vs. Aslan
This is hard; I can't really choose. It would probably be the same as Gandalf and Aslan.

The White Witch Vs. Gandalf
That's hard. . . *can't decide*

Frodo Vs. Maugrim
It's not really a fair fight since Maurgrim's a wolf and much more powerful than Frodo. He would probably win in five minutes at the most.

Guys, The Pevensies are pretty good fighters, And I thought this would be something fun and interesting to discuss...And don't doubt Aslan, Angrod, A Sword would shatter if it hit him and a Arrow would just fall to the ground. The Witch's Knife only hurt him because he let it.

And Maugrim is the Wolf Leader who Peter kills, Elegost.

^well people are entitled to their own opinions here, Elven, and Angrod and I happen to think that skilled LotR warriors go far better than little children.. Yes maybe Peter can kill ONE wolf leader, but do you honestly think that can outdo Aragorn??

So yeah, it's true that the Pevensies are good fighters, but they are nothing compared to the warriors of Middle-earth. Seriously.
