This is to free up quite a bit of room in the actual rp thread, as it was getting hard to read through my first post.. Name: Raina Age: Unknown Race: Elf Gender: Female Appearance: Tall and lithe, has a very slender build, though do not think her weak and frail: she is quite strong from several years of rigorous weapons and physical training. Her almond-shaped eyes are flinty grey, and her waist-length hair is flaming red. Attire: Most often dresses in dark clothes, more often brown or black. More often than not, seen wearing a white longsleeved tunic, black form-fitting pants, sturdy calf-high black boots, and a long black 'pirate-style' coat. Personality: N/A Weapons: She carries a delicate-looking longbow, enblazoned with silver leaves, and a quiver full of arrows, fletched with swan's feathers. Along with this, she carries a curved hunting knife, worn at a belt on her waist(she is never without it), as well as a longsword. History: N/A, she has related it to no one. Exalted or Gifted: Exalted Abilities: Telekenesis, earth manipulation, fire manipulation, telepathy. Counterpart: Landen Name: Rylin Age: Unknown Race: Elf Gender: Male Appearance: Slight build, rather tall, has longish red hair and blue-grey eyes. Attire: Depends..more often than not, a white longsleeved tunic, brown vest, black pants, sturdy brown boots, and a long, dark brown 'pirate-style' coat. Personality: N/A Weapons: Always carries several daggers concealed among his clothes, as well as a longsword worn at his belt, which he is never without. Also carries a bow and quiver on occasions, but prefers his blades. History: N/A Exalted or Gifted: Exalted Abilities: Telepathy, telekenesis, weather manipulation, earth manipulation. Counterpart: Aranel Name: Varna Age: 19 Race: Human Gender: Male Appearance: Tall, slight build, tanned from long years under the sun, has shaggy sandy blond hair and grey eyes. (Think something like Eragon.) Attire: White longsleeved tunic with billowy sleeves, brown vest and pants, calf-high boots, and a thin, well-worn dark brown pirate-style coat. Personality: To be added later. Weapons: Keeps several daggers belted at his waist at all times and one hidden in his boot, along with a sword, apparently given to him by his father when he was 15. History: Not much is known about him, save he was a part of a nomadic tribe that lived in the Abyth desert. Something happened one day to seperate him from his caravan, and since then, he has been on his own. Exalted or Gifted: Exalted Abilities: Mind control, weather control, telepathy. Name: Aedha (AY-tha, 'th' as in 'that') Age: 18 Race: Human Gender: female Appearance: Curly dark blond hair that reaches a little past her shoulders, and is usually held back in a braid. Attire: A green dress trimmed with gold with a dark cloak that goes over. Personality: to be determined (I never know these things at the beginning) Weapons: A sling and pouch of round stones, and a short lady's sword History: Nothing of real importance, grew up as the daughter of a noble from Irvanrhi. Name: Tal Adaran Age: 43 Species: Elves Gender: Male Appearance: Dark skinned, light brown eyes, around 5'9", with short brown hair. Attire: White tunic, brown leggings, brown overtunic, and leather boots. Personality: That'll be determined in the story. Weapon(s): Slightly curved sword (a saif, in other words), curved dagger, and a double-recurve bow made out of horn. Gifted or Exalted: Gifted Abilities: Manipulation of Fire, Healing History: Born and raised in the Desert of Abyth, Tal was something of an anomaly, being relatively short in comparison to the rest of his people. He and his tribe were nomads--rare among elves--travelling across the desert between Oasises. They were also warriors, often at odds with other nomadic tribes, so Tal is well trained with sword and bow, and--to a degree--experienced in unarmed combat. In the desert, there are no trees to use for cover, so stealth is of vital importance. Other tribes consisted of highly skilled horsemen, but Tal's tribe and a few others--both human and elvish--relied mostly on footmen, resulting in extremely good stealth. When he was twelve years old, he was sent to train with the Order of the Gifted, slowly mastering his powers. When he was twenty-five years old he returned to his people, with whom he has lived since then, though he plans on leaving to travel the world soon. He is famous as a Healer, for many people of his tribe and its allies had sustained serious injuries which he was able to heal. He has equal fame as a killer, though--those who can make it through the fire he shoots from his hands find that they do not last long against him with a sword. |
