Yes but his fate is very happy.
As you saw there was a point "5.The Black Sign,The Faiding of the Fire of the Sun and the fall of Carasuincalad"
After Elanor's kidnapping Adanion and his father learn that she's kept in Orthank.So they save her from there but on the way to Carasuincalad scouts report that the city is under attack.Herion sends his daughter and his son to Cirdan,on the shores of the sea.
So they two flee and they save theirselfs.Elanor is long time healed from her wound.When she awakes and learns for the death of their family and the fall of Carasuincalad,she refuses to seal to the West...Adarion stays with her and she ask him,to learn her to fight.So 20 years he trains his sister and when the One Ring is found,they leave Cirdan(they still don't know that The One is found,if you get me right!)They travel to Carasuincalad(it's location is on the south borders of Mirkwood)hoping that someone survived the orc attack.But they find just ruins.They enter in the palace but an orc legion spots them.They ambush Adanion and Elanor but only Elanor saves herself...

Now the first part tells what actually is The Fire of Arien.Tavor travels to the sun because of his curiosity and as I wrote he turns to ashes.But Arien decides to talk to Manwe and to ask him to revive the bird.Manwe agrees and revives him but on the place of his heart he puts a little sphere fulled little with the Fire of Arien.The only condition is this that Tavor will be Phoenix-he will be burned slowley from the fire in his heart but everytime he will rise the ashes again.He becomes immortal,but the only thing that could kill him that's water.And so happens-during a storm Tavor dies and the sphere falls on earth.Many years later the sphere is found by Herion Elanor's vather.And so her story beginns.
