Super power: Energy Manipulation and the ability to fly. Her powers range from creating invisible energy fields as shields to harnessing electrical energy, solar energy or any form of energy waves. She can harness lightning as a means of attack and create different forms of energy shields. She can also absorb beams of energy and redirect it in another direction. However, if the ray is too powerful, it could ultimately kill her. In her most powerful state, her body can become the energy itself, transforming her into a woman of golden light that can rip through any object. However, she rarely uses this technique as the transformation leaves her weak and vulnerable to attack. Moreover, during her time underground, she was taught some martial arts-skills that come in handy when she must keep her powers hidden.
Personality: Soft-spoken and demure, her compassion is both her greatest strength and weakness. She also possesses a strong-will, a trait that allowed her to withstand the misery of her past. Moreover, she is fiercely loyal to friends, willing to lay down her life to save theirs.
History: Born into a well to do family, she was abandoned to an agency at the age of 4 when she accidentally blasted a window with an invisible energy wave. Ever since then, she lived with other children who made fun of her because of her mutant abilities. Through she tried hard to conceal her powers, she could not control them and word spread quickly about her "difference." For the next two years she was sent from foster home to foster home with no one wanting to keep a “mutant” girl. When she was 7 she was sent to her final foster home headed by Mrs. Bastille. During this time, her only friend was a girl named Estelle, who was the only one to show her some measure of kindness. When she was 13, she was kicked out of the home when she attacked a boy for hurting Estelle. Left to fend for herself, she was discovered by a group of Underground agents a few weeks later who promised her shelter in exchange for her obedience. Lost without anyone to turn to, she agreed to their terms. These agents helped her develop her powers but used her for their own evil purposes. There she learned a variety of martial arts and would be sent on “secret missions” in exterminating the filth of society. Five years later, she discovered that one of the targets was a prominent business woman known for her charity works. Realizing that she had been used to commit heinous crimes, she destroyed the Underground lair in a fit of rage before striking out on her own again. At the age of 18, she began to do what ever she could to get by, including engaging in some less than reputable activities. When she turned 21, she joined the Heroes, hoping to atone for her misdeeds. This past year, she was rescued by
Darius Griffith after
Katalina Fairchild poisoned her and she felt a deep gratitude and affection for him. Yet, she could sense a history between Darius and Katalina and for fear of becoming the 'other woman', she thanked him for her life and then departed, deciding it may be best to love from a distance.

Alliance: More hero than villain
Super power: The ability to fly, also able to create beams of dark energy (black in color) to be used as weapons or shields and he can weaken an opponent/individual through the ability ‘drain life’ that has its creation in dark magic. When he uses his ‘drain life’ ability, he channels the power from within and released from his hand. Since this ability is under conscious control he can drain a victim's energy with a single touch (if he so desires) or if he chooses to attack from a distance, he can create a dark aura that envelops his victim. When he absorbs their energy a slight purple aura surrounds his body as he absorbs their energy. The ability ‘drain life’ can work both ways. He can use it to boost his own power or he can use it against himself to transfer some of his energy to help restore the life of a friend. When he uses the ability against himself, nothing appears to be different until he transfers his energy upon which the recipient is surrounded by a slight purple aura. In that sense it can be used as an ability to heal superficial wounds of others, but it comes at a price as it weakens him. This ability cannot fully heal life-threatening wounds, it can only reduce the damage.
Personality: Somewhat withdrawn, he is courageous and noble though and aura of darkness seems to radiate from him, causing many to mistrust him. He cares little for the conflict between the heroes and villains though he will interfere at times if he sees the need. Moreover, he is loyal to the few he considers friends.
History: Darius was abandoned at the age of three to a foster home when in a fight with his five year old cousin, he nearly blasted him with a dark energy beam. From that time on he was sent to a foster home where he met
Katalina Fairchild. Though he was not crazy about the girl, he suffered her companionship for the time he was there. At the age of sixteen he had a bitter fight with the “head warden” as he called her and left abruptly, never to return. Katalina begged him to allow her to go with him, but he refused, saying that street life was no place for a twelve year old girl. From then on he lived on his own, doing odd jobs to get by. As fate would have, in one fight against the villains, he spied
Calista Pierce fighting and feeling himself drawn to her for her beauty and courage, he watched the battle ensue. It just so happened that Katalina happened to be in the area and spied Darius besotted with the woman. Enraged beyond measure, she used vines to grab the girl before blowing a concentrated poison upon her. Noticing the girl was near death, Darius attacked Katalina and ordered her to save the woman. Katalina tried to fight against him, but Darius attacked her with his drain life powers, promising only to spare her if she saved Calista. Faced with certain death, Katalina agreed and weakly blew the antidote upon the woman before fleeing from him as fast as her weakened state allowed. Darius then approached Calista and as the two locked eyes, there was a connection between the two that neither could explain. He then turned to check up on Katalina, remembering how he had drained her, but found that she had left. It was at that moment that whatever magic he had with Calista vanished, and though she thanked him for saving her life she became withdrawn and left before he could explain that he and Katalina never were together. Although it took him awhile, he later joined with the heroes because of his feelings for Calista.

History: Sophia McNeil, the daughter of Joseph McNeil’s second wife, grew up in a relatively modest neighborhood. Unbeknownst to her, her father had been married once before and she had a half-brother named
William McNeil. Her father never spoke of his first wife and she grew up believing that she was his only child and pride and joy. She discovered her powers at an early age and would often use them to manipulate her parents to her will. Thus, she grew up a rather spoiled child and wanted for nothing. Anything she wanted, was hers and she had never been denied by parents or family. At the age of 16, she developed a crush on
Joshua McKnight, but he never returned her affections. It was the first time that she had ever been denied and her powers completely failed her. Angered, hurt and humiliated, she became an enemy to love and all the heroes, making it her personal goal to destroy all that stood in her way. To exact her revenge upon Joshua, she mind-controlled their family’s mechanic to sabotage the vehicle, causing the parents to lose control of the car and drive off of a cliff.

History: Joshua's powers were discovered when he was only three, but surprisingly his parents did not abandon him and tried to give him a normal life as much as possible. He grew up in a rather comfortable home and attended a school regularly, though he was warned numerous times never to reveal his powers. However, from the time he was five onward he was sent to study martial arts at a dojo with the hope that he would learn discipline (both physical and mental), and the value of hard work, courage and honor. During his middle and high school years, he attended the same school as
Sophia McNeil who developed a crush on him. He however did not return her feelings and due to his mental conditioning, he managed to resist her mind manipulation. Several months after he rejected her, his parents were killed in a freak accident and from then on, Joshua pledged to devote himself in stopping those who wish to hurt others.

She is also immune to all types of poison and can create all types of poisons or antidotes with her breath, depending on her mood. To infect or cure a person she simply needs to blow on them.
History: Katalina had a relatively happy early childhood until her parents were killed when she was seven and her powers were revealed a year later. From that time on, she was sent to an foster home to live. There she met
Darius Griffith and developed a secret crush on him though he never seemed to return her feelings. When he ran away, her heart was broken, but still she decided to try and make the best of the situation. Yet, things inevitably became worse and at seventeen she ran away and has been living on her own ever since--using her charms as a way to survive. This past year, she happened to witness Darius’s affection for
Calista Pierce and a hurt she had never known filled her. Without thinking, she nearly killed the woman with her poison, only in turn to be attacked and nearly killed by the man that she loved. At his mercy, she reluctantly healed the woman before staggering off to recover on her own. She had trusted him, loved him in her own way and Darius betrayed her for another. In her eyes, he didn’t even seemed concerned about her injuries. From that day on, she lived alone, dating random men and killing them with her poisoned breath when they outlived their usefulness. Despite all he had done, Katalina found that she could not kill Darius, so she took her anger out on others instead.

Powers: She is able to draw the outline of any person she sees in the air and it manifests itself into a doll. From there, however she attacks the doll is the pain that person feels. She can stick with the doll with her nail or pin and depending on her force and where she attacks the doll, her attack can be fatal.
History: Legally born Sonya Boyd, she started to go by Mari (meaning Sea Of Bitterness) at the age of 13 when her best friend was killed in an accident. Always an introverted child, she did not have many friends as a youngster. Her parents could not understand their child and took her to various psychologists, though none seemed able to help her. Hence, during her many hours of solitude, she learned how to perfect her powers, first trying them out on stray animals and then moving to those that school who would bully her. As the years passed, her heart so hardened that she rarely smiled. After a particular fight with her parents when she was seventeen, she created two dolls of them and plunged both in the heart, killing her parents instantly. From then on she has been on her own until joining the league of villains.

Personality: Soft-spoken and aloof, she has shut herself off from the world. She is often coolly polite, but reveals little about herself to anyone.
History: She was abandoned as a young girl when her powers were discovered. Later she was discovered by an agency who trained her to become their top assassin. However, she grew disillusioned by the killing and sought to escape them. They in turn hunted her for breaking the code and so she killed them all. From then on she lived in the shadows, perfecting her skills as a fighter and closed her heart off from others-though at times she finds herself investigating disputes not directly connected with her.
Other notes ::
She has the ability to age an individual until they die as well as turn back time to make them young again. This ability can work at a distance so she does not need to be in contact with the person to use it, although both abilities work faster if she is. When she attacks from a distance, her power is felt in the form of an invisible wave and the chosen person either ages or is made young (although most of the time she chooses to age her enemies). When she ages someone, unless she kills them, the process reverses itself within 3 hours--sometimes shorter if she does age them that much. Most of the time she only ages a purpose with the intent on weakening them. However to use this power on herself, she must absorb the life force of another-meaning she must age someone to keep looking young and to have it last for a long duration, she generally must kill her victim. She also has the ability to freeze time for 10 minutes. She has developed this power enough to make it highly selective. In other words, she can freeze her opponents so she and her allies can attack them. However, she has been unable to perfect the skill to last for a longer duration. Moreover, because it takes her a fair amount of energy to freeze time, she does not do so unless the situation is dire, and she will almost never freeze time twice in a row. However, she cannot travel through time, to undo the past or change the future Nor can she rewind time. She also carries a number of weapons with her including guns, throwing stars and smoke bombs.
