Here are two generators for elvish and dwarf names. You can generate up to 100 names at a time, until you find the perfect one for you! elvish names; http://www.rdinn.com/generators/2/elven ... erator.php dwarf names; http://www.rdinn.com/generators/1/dwarv ... erator.php there are other generators, but this one is the best i've used. others often have only a few names in their database (Idril, Arwen, etc) |

I believe this is in the wrong section, but thanks for sharing! I've always wanted an Elvish surname! Btw, this should have been posted in the miscellaneous LotR section. |

Some of the names I got here were: Dordagfarasren, Caeltherindorren, Anfindna, Galaalvaian To me it seems a pretty random squashing together of 'elements'! Which would explain why there are so many names. Yes I realize it's just for fun, and nobody said otherwise  But let us not forget too the great pains JRR Tolkien took with respect to the pleasing sound of Sindarin and Quenya names [pleasing in distinct ways with respect to language]. Yeah,these generators are just for fun...i prefer actual Elvish names
