Impressive story there. I must say I'm more of a purist but this one is great! Its good to see some imagination running, but still you keep the faundation clear.

[font=Arial, sans-serif][/font] I, Luinnar Bluefire, am the daughter of two First-Breed vampires, and to know about them, I must tell you how they came to be. When Melkor first took elves to make orcs, he tried to make them unbeatable machines, evil and full of malice, yet he wanted them smart, also. So he didn't tamper with the elves too much. He gave them new ways of fighting, such as fangs and claws that they could retract, and he also gave them the ability of one power, that they would develop over the years. But he left them too much of themselves, and they rebelled against him, and went back to live with the other elves, hiding what they had become, which were First Breed vampires, as they called themselves. Years later, Melkor decided to try again, this time leaving them less of the elf in them, and they were changed into Second-Breed vampires, the ones everyone fears and can be killed with a stake, holy water, sunlight, and the like. They needed blood to live, and were at times called the walking dead. Yet they, too, rebelled, and left Melkor, for they had been given too much free will. But they did not go back to the ways of good. They formed groups, clans, and fed off of humans and the occaisonal elf. Then the 'Extermination' took place. The First-Breeds had begun to be found out, and they did not like the idea of the Second-Breeds tainting their reputations. So they attacked them, intent on killing them all. But the Second-Breeds retaliated, turning many to their cause, and decimated the First-Breeds. I am born from the last two First-Breeds remaining, and they were killed when I was but a year old. I do not remember it... I was found in a clearing, not far from the cave where my parents had been killed. A young boy named Rannon was out with a party of villagers, and he saw me, he was only one also, yet had exceptional eyesight, for he was an elven child, taken in by the villagers. They, thinking I was elven also, for my kind still had pointed ears, took me in and raised me as their own. Living in the village was interesting, but Rannon and I were both rejected for what we were, or at least, what we were thought to be. I, on the other hand, was much different than they ever thought. I learned to fight at a young age, or I probably wouldn't be here to tell the tale, for I thought of him as a brother, the only true family I had. When I found out that I was a vampire, the only one I ever told was Rannon. One day, when I was out in the forest, Rannon came running to me, telling me the village had been burned to the ground, and that everyone was dead. Unfortunately, it was true. Then they came. The same vampires, Second-Breeds, that had killed my parents and had killed my foster parents came for me. Azar was the name of their leader. He and his two helpers, sidekicks, call them what you will, found us. We fought them, and the two assisstants were killed, but Azar got away. Rannon took a knife straight through the heart, one that was aimed at me. He died, telling me something I will never forget. I left that place and never returned. So I became a pirate, a thief, pickpocket, and a weapons and fighting extraordinaire. Soon after that, I found out my power, my one ability. Blue fire, what the villagers had named me, an elven name, thinking me an elf. I was named that for my blue eyes, and for my dark scarlet-red hair. *is about 5' 5'', has scarlet waist-length hair and piercing blue eyes, that have blue flames dancing in them at all times**dresses usually in a loose, flowing black tunic and black pants, with black boots, always has hoop earrings and a varied assortment of weapons hidden on her, namely sword/scimitar, two longknives, a dirk strapped to her right thigh, and a knife in her boot, along with a lockpick in the sole of her boot**also happens to be very sneaky, confident, and rather a smart-aleck*lol |

Well, I'm not a vampire fan either.... I think their fangs are very interesting, neat devices, and the fact that they can't die, except by stake/holy water (Garlic doesn't work....)..... But I dislike the fact that they are evil and work for the the Devil.... So I made a new breed if vampires that are more like elves with fangs....lol |
