Full Name: Charles Edward Martin
Known As: Charlie, "Lord Charlie the Protector"
Age: 13-30 during TLTWATW, 27 during THAHB, 14 during PC, 22 during TLB
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: Light brown hair, brown eyes, about 5'3" in height
Attire: Tunic, pants, usually a cloak, prefers to wear dark or royal blue
Weapons: A long broad sword with an inscription on it that reads "Strong is the one who carries a sword, yet uses it not save in times of need". He also carries a shield with the lion symbol on it.
Charlie's History: As for Charlie, he was very protective of his siblings, so he was relieved to hear that they would not be the Kings and Queens. Like Peter, he was given a shield and sword, but Charlie's sword was different than Peter's, for it had an inscription on it. Charlie fought alongside Peter in the battle for Narnia, and was given the title 'Lord Charlie the Protector' for his deeds. After the Pevensies returned to England, Charlie took the role as King for two years, promising to rule as Peter would until another King could be found. Unfortunately, the Martins were gone as well before that occasion could occur. Charlie returned to Narnia with his siblings during the time of Prince Caspian, and aided them in the fight to regain Narnia. After that, he would not return until the time of the Last Battle, when he would live in Narnia forever.

Full Name: Emily Anne Martin
Known As: Emily, "Lady Emily the Loyal"
Age: 12-29 during TLTWATW, 26 during THAHB, 13 during PC, 14 during TVOTDT, 22 during TLB
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Appearance: Dark brown hair, brown eyes, about 5'5" in height
Attire: Is most often seen in dresses, commonly red or gold
Weapons: She wields a bow that does not easily miss, and has a bright red quiver full of arrows. She also carries a horn similar to that of Susan's, but it does not have quite the magical power of Susan's, in that it only is heard by her family members.
Emily's History: Emily was the first to recognize that they should stay in Narnia to help the Pevensies, even though they hardly knew who they were. She was very kind to the Beavers, and took extra precautions to make sure things ran smoothly. However, things did not work out so well in her favor. While playing with Susan, Lucy, and Joelle (her younger sister) at the river, she and Joelle were captured. She pretended to be Susan to fool the Witch, and was turned to stone for it. She was taken to the Witch's castle, where she stood by the Witch's throne until Aslan freed her. Then she joined them all at the battle, and was later dubbed 'Lady Emily the Loyal' because of her dedication to the Pevensies, even in the face of death. When the Pevensies left, Emily became Queen, at least until they too had to leave. During that time, Emily had a romantic interest with Oreius, the loyal general. Emily returned with her family to help save Prince Caspian, and again for the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. And lastly, she came to the final Narnia during the Last Battle.

Full Name: Daniel Robert Martin
Known As: Danny, "Lord Daniel the Strong"
Age:* 10-27 during TLTWATW, 24 during THAHB, 11 during PC, 12 during TVOTDT, 13 during TSC, 20 during TLB
Race: Human
Gender: Male
Appearance: Light brown hair, brown eyes, about 5'3" in height
Attire: Tunic, pants, vest, sometimes cloak, usually in brown or light blue
Weapons: Danny has a sword from Father Christmas. It isn't as powerful as Charlie's or Peter's, but it still works. He also has a packet of herbs. With one lick, he gains temporary strength to fight and do whatever needs to be done (thus the title 'strong').
Daniel's History: Daniel, like Edmund, was always sort of the left-out Martin child. He was often discouraged by Charlie's bossiness and superiority. That is why he went with Edmund when Edmund went to see the White Witch. He and Edmund planned to rule Narnia together. However, the tide was turned, and Danny was taken captive with Edmund. He saw his sisters captured and Emily turned to stone, and saw himself, Edmund, and Joelle rescued. Then he received the gift from Father Christmas that he was supposed to receive, and fought with his siblings to free Narnia. He was dubbed 'Lord Daniel the Strong', and ruled well. He too returned for Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader. When he and Joelle returned for the adventure of the Silver Chair, he helped Jill and Eustace find Prince Rilian, and finally he returned to the Final Narnia.
[4]
Name: Joelle Elizabeth Martin
Known As: Joelle, "Lady Joelle the Lovely"
Age:* 7-24 during TLTWATW, 21 during THAHB, 8 during PC, 9 during TVOTDT, 10 during TSC, 17 during TLB

Weapons: Joelle carries a small cordial of the fireflower, but her cordial is made of glass. She also has a small dagger, but she prefers to fight with a bow and arrow like her sister.
Joelle's History: Joelle, unlike Lucy, did not come into Narnia before her other family members. But, like Lucy, Joelle did become really close friends with Mr. Tumnus. She went with her siblings across Narnia, was captured with her sister, watched her sister be turned to stone, was returned to Aslan's camp, and helped Aslan rescue her sister. After that, she was dubbed 'Lady Joelle the Lovely', not only because of her beauty, but also because Aslan said "She can see the loveliness in others where no others can." However, her beauty played out interestingly enough. She too was prized by many princes across the lands. She was loved by the people, especially the smaller creatures of the Western Woods. When she returned during the time of Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, Prince Caspian himself said that she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. During the Voyage of the Dawn Treader, she was very helpful to Caspian again. She also returned for the adventure of the Silver Chair, and finally was brought to Narnia to live forever.
The Children's History
Pre-Narnia
The Martin children grew up in a small apartment in London, where they lived with their parents. In 1939, their father was sent to war, and the children were left alone. During the air raids, when the evacuation order was sent, the children were sent to the countryside, where their adventures began.
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe
The children were sent to the home of James and Mary Ketterley, an older couple who lived in the countryside. Their house was very small, so the children spent most of their time out of doors. One day, they were playing far away from the house by a small cave in the ground. They heard thunder in the distance, but weren’t concerned, that is, until it started raining very hard, and they saw lightning in the direction of the house. Joelle quickly ducked into the cave. A moment later, her siblings heard her voice, but it sounded far away. She yelled for them to ‘Come here!’ Emily followed her, and then the others did as well, and they found themselves crawling on snow not far from the lamp-post. Still soaking wet from the rain, they walked on, wondering where they were. When they reached the lamp-post, they ran into a group of other children. They were the Pevensies. After talking for a while, they decided to go with the others, mostly because they didn’t know how to get back. Lucy Pevensie claimed to have met a faun called Tumnus, so they went along with her. They followed the Pevensies to Tumnus’ house, then to the Beaver’s dam. The Beavers were shocked to meet ten new children instead of four, but it left them with no doubt that spring would come soon. However, the children did not want to stay in Narnia, especially the Martins, for Charlie had no desire to see his siblings harmed. But, before they could leave, they learned that Edmund and were gone. As it turned out, Danny had been convinced by Edmund that they should go and see Aslan before the others, when in reality he had wanted to see the Witch. The six remaining children and the Beavers left immediately, striking out for the Stone Table. Along the way, they encountered Father Christmas, wolves, and a waterfall. Finally, they reached Aslan’s camp in safety. There, Aslan told the Martins that they were not the ones who would fulfill the prophecy. But, they did not mind, for they were content as they were. However, things did not continue to go smoothly. One day Susan, Lucy, Joelle, and Emily were playing by the river. Suddenly, a group of wolves appeared. Susan was able to grab her horn and call for help, but a number of wolves carried Emily and Joelle off. The others were saved. While in captivity, Emily stood up to the Witch while defending Edmund, Danny, and Joelle. She was instantly turned to stone, and Joelle was tied up with the others. Emily was taken to the Witch’s castle, and placed next to her throne. Soon after, Aslan’s followers arrived to save the four children, but they were too late to save Emily. Edmund and Danny were given a talking-to by Aslan, and were released into the camp. Charlie might have taken his siblings home then, but he knew that he couldn’t leave Emily, so he stayed to help. But soon the Witch came to claim Edmund and Danny. That night, Joelle went with Lucy and Susan, and saw Aslan give himself for Edmund (but not Danny, for he had really done no wrong after all). The next morning, they went with him and freed Tumnus, Emily, and the other statues. Meanwhile, Charlie and Danny stayed and fought alongside Peter and Edmund. When they were reunited, they were all overjoyed. After that, they could have left, but chose to stay. For that, they were named Knights and Ladies of Narnia, and given special honours. They were at the coronation of the Kings and Queens, and all but Charlie were knighted by the High King (Charlie had been Knighted by Aslan alongside Peter). They aided the Kings and Queens for many years. And when the Pevensies mysteriously disappeared, they ruled as temporary Kings and Queens for two years, until one day, by chance, they too went too far into the Western Woods, and found themselves crawling back out of a small cave into a thunderstorm.
Prince Caspian
One year after the Martins had returned from Narnia, our time, things had gotten back to normal. The children had just finished the summer holidays, and were preparing to go back to school. The day they left, however, they were pulled by magic back into Narnia, and found themselves in a familiar place. They were in Lantern Waste, yet they did not know how they had come to arrive there. They wandered a bit, heading for the house of their friend Mr. Tumnus. But, as you know, he was no longer alive, and the house had been empty for hundreds of years. The children continued on to find the area of the Beaver’s Dam to be a town. Fortunately, the children did not enter the town, or they would have been in big trouble with King Miraz. They stayed outside for one night, and the next morning were met by a strange face. A young squirrel had come to meet them, but he had been expecting the ancient Kings and Queens, or Aslan himself, not these four former Knights. Nonetheless, the children learned of the story of Caspian. As it turned out, Emily’s horn had been blown in an attempt for help. But since no one could hear it, save the children of course, it had been dismissed. Then the other horn had been blown, and the squirrel had assumed that it was that horn which had brought the children. At any rate, the children went with the squirrel to Caspian’s camp, which was farther from Lantern Waste than it was from Cair Paravel. On their arrival, they were reunited with the Pevensies. After that, the children did very little in the story, save help motivate the troops and provide moral support to the Pevensies. In the end, Aslan thanked them for coming, though seemingly by accident, and told them that Charlie would never enter Narnia again. Then, he sent them back home, to return to school. They never learned why they had been brought in the first place.
