Amara clicked her tongue again, and guided her horse to move down the hill. Once she made it down the hill, she hopped off her horse and tied the reigns to a wooden post that was nearby. She gently ran her hand over her horse's mane. She smiled a little and whispered a little elvish in it's ear, softly and quietly. She rested her hands on her hips and looked up at the reddening sky. She sighed, deeply.

Minuialwen had been left behind when the elves went to battle Sauron, brother would not hear of her going. Now she was riding to meet him. From what they had heard, Sauron had been defeated and the troops where coming home. Now coming over a ridge she smelt the stench of blood, and bodies lay everywhere. She gasped and a tear fell down her cheek when she saw from afar her family's banner. Minuialwen kicked her horse forward. When she reached the field she jumped off her horse and ran over to where the banner stood, stuck into the muddy ground. Not far from it lay Astari, her brother. "No." she whispered as she sank to her knees, the tears spilled onto her cheeks and she wailed loudly, the sound carried through the field and the surrounding woods, a haunting, terrible, sound of pure grief. Her beloved brother, was dead.
