Eleshna glanced down towards the floor at his comment. "Not exactly," she confessed quietly with slightly less of a smile. "I am always nervous of public situations... just learned not to show it..."

"Aldor.... he has known me, though he never knew why I came here, nor did anyone for that matter" Eleshna replied quietly, then let her words fade as the old man himself brought to her the ale she had asked for.

She accepted it with a smile and returned a few coins from her vest pocket. Silently her gaze drifted as Aldor informed some of the customers that a tale might be given that night.

Eleshna chuckled slightly and shook her head. "Looks like we won't escaping having to offer a tale or two... at least we will have rooms tonight, instead having to use the remainder coins I have, which aren't many..."

She seemed strangely talkitive, as though to fit in with the crowd, but it was only out of habit, out of ability to survive.

Eleshna chuckled slightly. Soon she was beckoned by Aldor to a chair by the fire, where several had gathered in antisipation for a story of the far off lands.

Eleshna sat as requested and crossed one leg over the other, hands rested over her knee, her cloak pulled about her. She began the tale with the typical "long long ago" but the story was of the Maithiliat, and its beginning.

She was careful with her inflections and tone, pausing in certain parts, raising her voice in others, and basically telling it as if she had been there. She chuckled inwardly as she glanced around at the reaction of silence it caused in the crowd.

Eleshna ended the tale after a long while at the point where the Maithiliat had awoken and had begun again its prowling. There was much complaining about her quiting the story there, but she stood and returned to sit beside Jaden, rubbing a hand over her eyes for a moment.

"That was very interesting." Jaden said with a smile as she sat down, teasingly nudging her a bit with his shoulder.

"Why thank you," Eleshna smirked and shoved him in return with her shoulder, chuckling slightly. "Interesting indeed, stunned some of them to silence, if only they knew..." she pondered quietly.

Jaden looked around at all the faces. It seemed to him that they were not sure whether to belive the story or not.

"You ready to call it a night or do you have more things to do?" he asked Eleshna.

Eleshna shrugged slightly, glancing around, "I could go for some fresh night air before calling it a night, but I won't hold it against you if you decide to seek obviously much needed rest," she chuckled slightly.

She stood, pulling her hood up to shadow her face. "Besides... I think I'll go awaken a swordsmith I know and see about getting myself a new sword... I feel very bare without one," she added quietly as she turned to go.

Jaden got up and followed her out. "That's ok I'll come along. We should have plenty of time for rest." he said.

The dark streets seemed empty as the country at this time of night. But Jaden still couldn't feel in place. He was to used to being away from others.

Eleshna smiled slightly, glancing back at Jaden as he followed. "Yes, surprising as it seems, we'll have plenty of time..." she chuckled softly to herself then glanced around the dark and silent street.

She walked along silently, her cloak concealing much of her figure as she glanced towards the stars ever so often.

Eleshna smiled. "Only at night, when the streets are silent.... but I'm as nervous as a mouse with a cat on the prowl during the day, even if I don't show it..." she smirked slightly, slowing her pace to a more easy going stride.

Eleshna took his hand, chuckling slightly and giving it a gentle squeeze. "Don't worry... once we get supplies tomorrow we'll leave... I wouldn't want to stay anyway. Too much comes to memory in places such as this."

She shuddered involuntarily before smiling slightly again. "Lothlorien will be a calm relief, a blessed change from the familiar..."
