Rain led them to the Inn they were to stay at. The barn behind it had plenty of stalls for the weary horses. Eruraina helped her friends with the horses, swiftly and skillfully helping dry them, and get them settled in the stalls. Morgalad, Rain's colt, wasn't amung the horses in that barn.
"Lord Eomer wanted to meet you all. He said to meet him at my cottage. It isn't far from here, and it's up toward Meduseld," Rain said to them...

Constince sat down on a bale of hay to wait for the others to finish with their mounts. "Where are we to stay Rain?"Constince asked then added, "If it helps ... it is nice to see you again, and I apologise about by behavior yesterday." She pulled her cloak tighter around her shivering from being wet.

Sarien grunted as she dismounted. She was soaking wet, and Legolas didn't look much better. Despite that, they both managed to smile and nod at Rain, and usher their steeds into stalls.

Crandol and Raelyn jumped off their horse and Gernhart off his. Crandol and Gernhart took the horses and put them in a stall and dried their horses. " are you sure Raelyn will be safe here?" he asked looking at all the humans about. " can we trust them?" he asked.
Gernhart sighed. " look...just clam down...yes she will be safe i promise and i would trust these people with my life. now go be with Raelyn before we have to leave...so you'll stay out of my hair." he said to him, nice but firm.

Raelyn sat next to contince. <i> if i'm gonna be with this girl for a wile i better get used to her now....</i> she thought to herself. she was soking wet and cold.
Crandol came and sat next to her wraping an arm around her shivering body.

"I should appoligize for my behavior, too," she replied to Contence. When all the horses were settled in there stalls, Rain headed for the door of the barn.
"Okay, now lets get to my cottage so we can get all of you dried and warmed. Oh, and Crandol, these humans are my kin. If you don't trust them, then you wouldn't trust me, because I'm more Rohirrim than elf," she retorted, before leading them to her cottage...

Crandol cringed as everyone looked at him. he didn't know she could hear him.
Raelyn glared at him. " hey...you need to be nice.." she said as she got up and walked out the door.
he tried to go after her but she kept her back twards him.

Gernhart laughed at the two. " nice move..." he said nudging Crandol

Constince walked over to Gurnhart and linked her arm through his. "You seem distant my love..." She layed her head against his shoulder and watched Crandol and Raelyn.

A small smile crept on Rain's lips. She made sure everyone was following her before she pulled up her hood and ducked into the rain. She led them up the main rode in the direction of Meduseld. Before the rode turned up to the golden hall, she turned off a smaller street, and followed it up to the small wooden, two story cottage.

When everyone was inside, she went into the other room, and came out with a handful of dry cloths and towels.
"I don't mind if you make a mess, just don't break anything," she commented, before going into another room...

Alendariel had followed quietly. When she looked around Rain's house, or the sitting room, which was what they were in, she could see many small figurines. Many of horses and dragons, all made of wood or metal and hand made. There were even a few minatures of cities like Edors, Minas-Tirith, and Bree. There were also many sketches and works of art hanging on the walls...

Constince hung her rain sodden cloak on a peg by the door to dry, then dried off and chanded into the clothing she had been handed. She took her thick black curly hair down to dry.

Legolas handed a shivering Sarien a towel and hugged her tightly. "Hannon le." she said happily. Sarien hugged him back, and they began to dry off quickly.

Once Sarien was dry, she wandered around the cottage, aweing at the many bits of artwork.

Gernhart got into some warm dry clothes and went and sat in one of the chairs in the living area and rested.

Crandol helped Raelyn off with her cloke. " look i'm sorry about what i said earlier." he said trying to catch her eyes.
Raelyn looked at him her gaze softening. " your forgiven my love." she said then went to change.

Consince sat on the floor by Gurnhart's chair and rested her head on his leg. After being wet, and ridding in the rain she was tired and was soon asleep.

Gernhart watched the others get out of their wet clothes and put on dry ones. he was dozing off and then decied to go lay in a bed. he remembered contince before he got up. he looked down at her and picked her up softly trying not to wake her. he put her in a bed and then layed on the floor next to the bed. he soon fell into a dreamless sleep.

Constince slept on as Gurnhart moved her to the bed room.

((yeah... there's only one bed in the cottage... and that would be Rain's... *shrugs* oh well))

Rain smiled when she came into her room to find Gernhart and Concetance asleep there. She tiptoed it, grabbed a few cloths from the closet, then left. She changed quickly, then went into the kitchen.

She grabbed a few loaves of bread, cheese, and wine, and water, and brought it to the sitting room.
"Here's some food for who ever. When the storm's gone I'll help get Realyn and Constance settled at the Inn while the rest of you get ready to go..."

Raelyn was sitting at a table when Rain came up.
she nodded as she said that she would help them after the storm.
she looked at Crandol. " i'm going to miss you." she said as she knew she wouldnt see him for some months.
he stood up from where he was sitting and took her hands and lead her outside. " where are we goin?" she asked him.
he smiled. " you'll see." he said as he lead her to a garden. a garden that they had to climb a wall to get too. Raelyn suspected that this was the kings garden.
" crandol this is beautiful. but i'm getting all wet. " she said laughing
" well at least the lighting has stoped." he said as he took her in his arms.
" no matter what i love you." he said once his arms were wraped tightly around her.
" and i you, my love."
