Constince's eyes flew open with a gasp. She looked around and carefully sat up realiseing that she was ina bedroom. She heard a soft snore and looked over at Gurnhart who had streached out on the floor. "Gurnhart?" She said softly.

Legolas yawned quietly before helping himself to a slice of bread and some cheese. He ate slowly, as if concentrating very hard.

Sarien was still poking around the cottage. Looking at this and that and humming a tune.

Gernhart woke up quickly. " Contince..? honey are you ok? what's wrong?" he asked her. standing up and sitting on the bed next to her.

Constince layed her head aginst Gurnharts shoulder. "Just a nightmare... I'm sorry I woke you." She closed her eyes, then opened them again. "Where's Raelyn?"

Gernhart thought for a moment. " i'm not sure...i should probably find her and make sure she's behaving herself. " he said chuckling. he kissed Contince's forehead. " i'll be right back, love" he walked out of the room and into the place where everyone else was. " has anyone seen Raelyn?" he looked around more.." and Crandol.." he sigh they were prolly up to something....

Raelyn smiled at Crandol and kissed him. " i'm not going to see you for a long time am i?" she said.
" no...sadly you are not." he said holding her closer.
" i'm really going to miss you..." she said choking up.
" i'm going to miss you too. but i will always have you with me.." he said putting his cheek on the top of her head. " i will have your evenstar." he said.
" Raelyn looked up at him. promise me you wont ever stop loving me."

Constince nodded and watched him leave the room. She placed a hand on her stomach, then stood and brushed the wrinkles from her skirt before stepping out into the room with him.

Gernhart turned and saw the door half ajar...he sighed angerliy..he turned to tell contince where he was going and noticed that she was right behind him. " sweetheart please go back and lay down. you need rest." he said looking at her.

Constince nodded, "Be gentile with her... she will not get to see him for a long time... Don't yell at her. The last thing I need is a princess that is angr at the one I love." She turned and walked back into the bedroom.

Gernhart nodded and her and threw on his cloke and walked out in the rain. " RAELYN!!!" he yelled out her name. the Rain was letting up.

Raelyn jerked her head around right as Crandol was about to kiss her again when she heard her name being called. "uh oh..." she looked up at Crandol.
"just stay quiet.." he instructed.

Gernhart looked in any place he thought they would be. " a garden...where would a garden be......she finds one everywhere she goes..." he sighed. " i wish she would dissapper like this....exspeally with that boy.." he said to himself. he made his way up to the castle..." maybe they have a garden here." he peered over the wall that raelyn and Crandol and climbed over. " what do you know...a garden." he said softly.

" i don't hear anything anymore. but maybe we should get back..." Crandol said softly.
Raelyn pulled his face closer to her. " i'm not going to see you for a long long time..i wanna keep you as close as possible." she said kissing him again.
Crandol closed his eyes and melted in her kiss. he sat down on a bench inside the gazebo and pulled her onto his lap. " alright we can have it your way." he smiled.

" Or we could have it my way........" Gernhart said as he leaned on the side of the gazebo. Raelyn was startled by him. " uh..." she looked at the ground.
"gernhart..please...were not going to be together for a lenthy amount of time." Crandol said holding her noticbly closer.
" you've had enough time together." he said becoming the older brother. " Rae..come on.." he said walking just outside the gazebo.
Raelyn huged and kissed Crandol one last time. " i love you." she said.
" NOW Raelyn!" Gernhart rasied his voice a little.
Rae silently stood up and walked behind Gernhart.
Crandol sat there for a moment and watched them go over the wall, then he got up and went over the wall. the rain had subsided a little more. he walked behind them watching Raelyn the whole time. she glanced back at him only to be jerked back by Gernhart.
by the time they had gotten to the little cottage the rain had stoped and it was dark. Gernhart went inside and found contince and layed back on the floor where he had been before and didn't say anything.
Raelyn sat in a chair and also said nothing.
Crandol sat away from Raelyn but could deffantly see tear marks on her face that had probably been hidden from the falling rain. he sighed.

Constince turned to look at Gurnhart. "You pulled the big brother rank didn't you?" She asked sitting up.

Gernhart didn't look at her. " yes i did....she can't just keep doing things like that. she knows her father would forbid it. i don't even know if her father has met Crandol. i'm just trying to protect her..." he said trying to seem right.

Constince nodded. "Did it feel right when you pulled her away?" She asked standing. She walked over to the door and looked out at Raelyn, then Crandol. She didn't wait for an answer, but stepped out into the room. "Rae? Can I talk to you and Crandol for a moment?" She asked.

She blocked off the two younger elves Like I would like to have the same amount of time for you and me?

Constince smiled, "Thank you." She said as she watched the two younger elves leave the room. Once they were gone she sank down on the end of the bed her back to Gurnhart, "Was that so hard? You have got to give her just a little freedom, or she won't listen when you correct her. There is nothing wrong about how they feel and she is older and more mature then you are giving her credit for."
