Elandiel sighed, and killed the last orc. "Now there is no reason for you or Tulmind to risk your health. Please be seated." she said.

Even as Elandiel knelt down to take care of the wounded half a dozen uruks appeared. They had heard the sound of battle and were eager to kill anything that stood in their way. They saw the company and rushed towards them. As they were but at few paces' distance suddenly an uruk fell, a few heartbeats later two more were struck by arrows. As they reached the wounded a shadow leaped out of the shadow behind a tree. Airemelro unsheathed his sword Varyalemár and killed the uruks left.
Turning to the others he said:"I'm sorry. I was delayed. We should get away from here. There must be many more orcs and if they find us it will go ill. It is strange however to meet orcs so close to inhabited lands. I think we should get the wounded on horses and seek some shelter close to us. What to you think lady Elandiel?"

Tulmind groaned as he felt pain everywhere. He wanted to cover one of his wounds with his hands but there were to many and he just shriveld up pulling at the arrow lodged into his chest.

Airemelero told Tulmind not to stir the arrow by himself. After some time the company reached a cave on the eastern side of the misty mountains where they sat down and tended the wounded.
"I hope lady Elandiel your skill in healing is as great as it seems for my own ones will maybe not suffice here."

Tulmind hated being helpless so he decided to stand up... or at least try to. With a thud his head hit the ground, maybe he should just lay down a tad longer.

Airemelero held Tulmind down while the other elf tended his wounds and the rest of the company guarded the cave or slept a little. When dawn came Tulmind's and Dakara's wounds were already much better.

"Leave the arrow be." Elandiel said softly to Tulmind. "It keeps the blood from pouring out for the present. Lie still." With a quick move, the arrow was pulled free and she closed the wound with her magic quickly. "You'll need a day or so to recover, more from the potency of the magic then the actual wound." she explained.

They took care of Dakara's wounds which were fortunately not serious and waited until the injured recovered. Then they set out again in northward direction and came soon to the south western corner of Mirkwood where the encamped for the night.

Nodding, Elandiel stood. "Now we must get you on to a horse, but no more combat." she said sternly. "As for you, Dakara, that shall still need attention." she gestured to his injuries.
