" it keeps order " she responded lowering her dagger she held it with her thumb as she pulled her arm into her cloak drawing a second sword silently. " if it is a lesson of honor you wish to teach.. " she threw down the second blade at Tarcil's feet " Teach" she challenged putting the dagger in its sheath. she took off her cloak and tossed it aside.
without the cloak she no longer looked unerving, she was a short woman but by no means stocky she was slender. she looked like a youth. she carried two swords(one now to Tarcil) two daggers and who knows how many hidden knives. she wore no visible armor, an easy opponet for the untrained eye.

"A lesson will be taught then.." Tarcíl picked up the sword. Eventhough he grew up on the street, drinking and stealing, he was by no means a coward. He'd alsways kept himself to the lessons his father taught him when he was a kid about duty and honour. Deawen might be a trained fighter, fully armed but Tarcíl's will was strong, so was his skill with the sword. He held the blade at the height of his face and nodded to Deawen. "Let the games begin then.."

Deawen made a bowing gesture and settled into a stance. she counted backward from five before attacking. it was a side sweep very short and percise her blade met his and slide part way down the blade her free hand extended backwards to prove she was not going to reach for a second blade.

Tarcíl now quietly awaited her attack. Patience was the key. He grinned at her for proving that she played it fair, if she didn't he would have killed her. Now he stroke on her left so she had to block him from below which he knew was difficult for in his stroke he laid all his anger not only towards her but towards many.

Deawen blocked the blow with all her weight. her turn she lunged forward flipped her blade so she grabbed it by the flat and used the hand guard to snag his shoulder and pulled him forward. she reversed her blade then vaulted off his shoulder so that she was behind him. she did not extend her blade she could have ended the fight with a quick slash but she didn't. even if she killed or wounded Tarcil there was the others to deal with. she lowered her sword so the tip rested on the floor waiting for Tarcil's move.

Tarcíl turned around, his blade low and struck again now she held her blade so careless.

(Tarcil should win, this is my last move )
Deawen blocked the blow her sword arm was stronger than it looked. she flicked his blade away with little effort she was toying with him. She lunged forward her sword peircing the air, a loose cobble stone shifted under her her balance was slightly thrown off with all her weight shifted forward she had to take a step forward to keep from falling head first. this but her in a dangerous position she had no good way of retreating backwards. she just hoped Tarcil didn't notice.

Seeing that the fight had become a duel, Ránëmírë sheathed her sword and picked up her cloak. She did not put it on though, instead folding it and placing it out of the way. She needed to be ready to fight if Deawen won. Going back to Cricket, she looked over at her companions and wondered if she had been foolish to come with them. She knew nothing about them except that one of them was the sister of the King of Rohan and that three of them were fugitives from justice. Ránëmírë's thoughts turned to the unpleasant fact that she could now be considered a fugitive from justice. She did not even know why they were escaping or where they were going. Right now she had no answer as to why she had come.

Amaran burried his face in his hands. This escape had turned into chivalry and duels. Of course, Tarcil aways did have that honourable streak in him. Amaran didn't, which is why when he saw her stumble he leapt, knocking her on her back. He stepped on Deawen's sword, and, drawing a dagger, pointed it at Deawen's neck. "Hello." He smiled "Let go of the sword"

this all happened too fast even for Deawen she was on her back her head hurt and she had a dagger at her throat...she let go of the blade heisitantly and relaxed her head backwards to ease some of the pain.
she glared up at Amaran.

"Fool" Tarcíl groaned at Amaran. "Why do you mingle in this affair? She was going with us if I'd win, if I'd loose, either way" Tarcíl silently cursed. He wanted to end this duel fair, as he should, even if he would loose. But then he glanced at Amaran who always wanted to win, no matter what, no matter how. He took the two blades of Deawen and said "Alright, we should leave quick."

((Anyone heard anything from Las yet?))

Czarra nodded, "We can walk or ride double, it makes no differents to me." She backed up to Screamer tighten her girth and and checked her saddle bags. Good, everything was still there.

Deawen remained silent even though it took most of her self control to keep from swearing. her face suddenly took on a relatively blank expression of emotion other than slight pain and annoyance.

"All's fair in love and war" Amaran smirked. "And if you lost...honestly, who's to say you wouldn't be dead?" He lowered a hand to help Deawen to her feet. Chivalry made Amaran gag. The thought that honesty and fairness and respect were the only way to live...No, sometimes the only way, the right way, to get somthing down was to scratch and claw your way up. Every situation couldn't be about keeping your "honor" intact.

Deawen stared at Amaran's hand, theses people confused her one minute they are barabaric the next civilized...she got to her feet, folded her arms over her chest and watched the others wondering what plan they had and if it was any good.
" I must say capturing the King's spymaster...clever if not ingenius...of course if anyone knew I was with you, you would be hunted down with twice the force" her voice was placid as most of her sarcastic remarks were.
