They walked and soon they reached the entrance. "Uh, where are we going? The entrance doesn't look like it's here.. is it?" Aralas said, and looked up at her brother. He shrugged. Gimli spoke. "Dwarf doors are invisible when closed," he said, tapping the walls with his axe. "Yes Gimli! Their own masters cannot find them, if their secrets are forgotten!" Gandalf said. "Why doesn't that surprise me!" Legolas said, looking at his sister. Aralas almost laughed. "Ah... now let me see.... Ithildin. It mirrors only starlight... and moonlight," Gandalf said as the moon touched the stone. "Wow," Aralas breathed. "Wait, isn't that elvish?" she asked, stepping closer to Gandalf.

"Yes," Gandalf replied to Aralas' question. Then he launched into a long lecture on elves and dwarves. "It's a riddle," Frodo said, "What's the elvish word for friend?" "Mellon," Aralas said softly. "Mellon," Gandalf said loudly and clearly and the doors opened. Merry and Pippin threw rocks into the water. Something stirred in the water. "Legolas? I don't feel too good about this," Aralas said, scared as she stared, frozen into the water.

Lessien looked at the water nervously. Something was stirring in it."WATCH OUT!" she screamed as a long tentacle reached out to pull Frodo into the water."NO!"

Aralas drew her knives. "What is it?" she asked, turning around to find everyone else except Lessien and her inside Moria. "Legolas! Aragorn!" she cried desperately as she hacked at the tentacles that tried to knock her down to get Frodo.

"I dont know!" creid lessien. she began shooting her bow. "Frodo!" she called as he struggled in the grasp of the tentacle.

Legolas fired an arrow but the creature did not let go. "Strider!" Frodo screamed. Anariel ran to her friends' side. "Boromir! Aragorn! Help!" Anariel yelled desperately as a mouth appeared and Frodo was pulled closer and closer to it. Aragorn finally cut the tentacle off and Frodo fell into Boromir's arms. "Into the Mines!" Gandalf commanded. "Legolas!" Boromir shouted, still carrying Frodo. "Come on!" Aralas said, grabbing Anariel's arm and they both ran into the mines. Aralas and Legolas fired arrows at the creature as it got closer to the doors. It staggered back but ripped the doors down. "NO!" Anariel screamed. "We now have but one choice, we must face the long dark of Moria. Be on your guard, there are older and fouler things than orcs in the deep places of the world," Gandalf said gravely. Aralas groaned. "Why do we have to-" she started. Aragorn shushed her. "Quietly now, its a four day journey to the other side. Let us hope that our presence may go unnoticed," Gandalf continued. "Four days?" Aralas moaned softly so that only Lessien, Anabel, Legolas, Pippin and Merry could hear her. "Help me, Anariel," she whispered. "I'm always here if you need me," Anariel said with a small smile.

"Lessien?" Aralas said, feeling around with her hands for her friend. Suddnely Gandalf turned to face them. "I don't remember where to go," he said. They sat down on the rocks. In front of them stood three doorways. "At least we can rest," Aralas said, groaning. Anariel put her pack down and laid her head on it, trying to go to sleep.
