Cora was somewhat shocked by the words and actions of Elegost but quickly regained her composure and rushed over to the wagon, seeing Malhock run. "Ai! This is not good...." Cora ran oon foot after the escapee.

Malhock grinned evily and stood to his full height on the branch. His balance was near perfect as he crept along the branch to totaly above her. He pounced and grabbed her shoulders from behind. With a flash he wraped the chain around her neck and pulled her back against the tree. He whispered into her ear.
"You know you'll be around the sixteenth person i've killed."
He grined and pulled back on the chain.
"No one is taking me back to the dungeons."

Lenne gasped and tried to put her hands underneath the chain, so that it wouldn't choke her. But, she failed. She gasped for air and tried to call for someone, but her voice was too raspy. Her eyes were wide with fear, as she stared at Malhock.

Malhock didn't want her dead, just yet. He kept the chain slack now and again giving her the chance to breath but pulling it back to keep her there. If the others came he needed a bargining tool.

Lenne looked around for something to help her. She didn't see anything, so she was stuck. She closed her eyes for a few moments and then gathered strength in her voice to call for someone. "SOMEONE HELP!!!" She yelled. She felt blood come out of her mouth.

Aelin heard a noise, quickly hiding behind a tree, silently. She looked around the trunk. She saw the prisonor and one of the company. She thought, nervously. She didn't want to harm her, but she had to capture him. She silent nocked her arrow on her recurve bow. She drew back the string and aimed carefully at his left calf.
She knew that it would be a very painful wound. She released the arrow, letting it fly true.

The arrow hit first before Cora's attack. He fell to one knee but pulled the woman down with him. He looked behind him at the two women. He quickly spun himself and his hostage around.
"Stay back or i'll kill her."

Lenne was breathing heavily, trying to get more air. She looked to Cora and shook her head. "Don't do anything for him." She had managed to say. She started coughing up blood.

Aelin had stepped from behind the tree, her eyes flashing. Her face was as cold and as blank as stone. Her bow was at her side and she was still gripping it tightly. She didn't know what to do. She looked at Cora, silently asking her what to do next.
Aelin knew that she could throw her knife, that was in her boot. It was perfectly balanced for throwing, but Aelin had not yet perfected her skills.

Deawen vanished from everything and reappeared behind the prisoner she was quite and moved slowly then with lightning speed she drew a knife a clear liquid dripped from it (silm knows what it is she knows or should) she used the hilt and pommel first knocking him in the side of the head then she switched to use the blade but she was not fast enough he back against her she hit her elbow against the tree a sharp pain ran through her arm she let go of the knife.

Malhock felt the blow and was dazed by it. He was tougher then he looked. But in his confusion he let the hostage go. Quickly he scoped the knief and ran as fast as he could.
