Eleshna swallowed once, though painfully, the antidote still burning harshly, and closed her eyes. She gave Jaden's hand a squeeze, though somewhat shakily, her hand still chilled.

She shivered involuntarily, her eyes opening again, the green depths somehow seeming more cold. "I don't ever.... want to go through that... again," she murmured quietly, staring towards the cieling, her expression somewhat haunted. "I somehow feel sorry for the Shadow now..." she attempted a slight laugh but coughed a few times instead.

"J...I.." Jaden was not sure hwat to say. "You shoudl rest..." He finaly got out as he held tightly to her hand, his other hand over resting on her shoulder as he looked into her eyes with deep concern.

He had never loved anyone like this before.. and if he lot her he wasn't sure whether he could live with it or not.

After a moment of her eyes searching his, Eleshna nodded and sighed with relief, peacefulness again drifting over her. She let herself drift to a restful sleep, though the pain still occasionally gripped her.

"She should be fine after a while. The antidote, if properly mixed and handled works swiftly and efficiantly..." The healer spoke then nodded slightly with a smile before leaving the room.

"How are you feeling?" Jaden asked turning back to Eleshna.

"Tired.... a little pain, and a lot of memories, but I'm alright..." Eleshna murmured the response, her eyes closed as she continued to slip deeper into rest, slowly drifting to a sound sleep, her expression peaceful again.

Jaden sat by her side, watching her face as the look of peace slowly flowed over it like a magicle breeze. His hand never leaving hers, worry still lingering in the back of his mind.

After a few hours of peaceful sleep, Eleshna awoke, blinking once or twice to clear her mind and bring her thoughts to the present.

She smiled slightly, a relieved and rested smile, and sat up, wincing only momentarily at a pain coursing through her body still, though not as severe and not as often.

Jaden sat up a bit straighter as he noticed her wake up. He was about to say something in protest t oher sitting up but decided otherwise.

"How are you?" he asked. "you already asked that..." he thought to himself silently.

"Maybe we should rest here a few days..." Jaden sugested, not wanting to travel before she was compleately recuperated.

Eleshna nodded slowly, thoughtful for a moment. Suddenly she leaned forward and folded her arms around his neck, heedless to the pain in her arm and buried her face against his shoulder.

She had to feel that he was real, that he was really there, and that she wasn't still trapped within the world between. She closed her eyes, unable to hold the tears escaping.

Jaden huged her tightly, rubbing his hand on her back a bit. He wasn't sure what to say... "Hey... it's going to be alright..." he said, wanting despretly to say something to make her feel better.

"My mom always said that tears are life's water and we are life's containers. If we don't let them out eventualy we'll overflow and we wount' be able to stop..." Jaden said softly, thinking back to his mother's words with fondness.

At his words, Eleshna sobbed openly, though quietly, letting it all loose against Jaden's shoulder. She had never felt such fear, such fear of losing what she had only just found. She never wanted to let go, fearful that if she took a false step she would cause destruction to what now existed, to the one she so loved.

Finally she controlled her self and absently wiped away the tears with the back of her hand, managing a slight smile, her voice soft. "Sorry...."

"That's alright..." Jaden said softly wiping away a stray tear that ran down her cheak with his hand as he looked into her eyes and saw in them the same feer he had felt.


He had only just found her, and all too soon it seemed like he might lose her. He had never loved anyone in this way before and more than anything he did not want to lose her, or let go for some fals fear that somethng might happen.
