Gernhart smiled. " it's ok love. i think it's best we get some sleep now." he said as he walked her outside of the stable and back to her room. he layed her in bed and then slept on the floor next to her bed. he was soon asleep.

Constince woke once during the night. She pulled some of the blankets off the bed and curled up next to Gurnhart on the floor. She lay her head on his chest and was soon asleep again.

((okay! The scwable's over... forgive and forget... mostly forget... lol!))

As dawn approached, a storm, worse than the one at Edoras, covered Minas-Tirith. Rain that stung fell with eye-ball sized hail over the stone streets. No one was out on the slippery streets for fear of getting hurtt. Even the guards who were supposed to be patrolling huddled in covered corners. Everyone was on edge, not liking this sudden storm when is was supposed to be dry season.
"It's not natural, none of it," said one guard.
"It came from the East," replied his companion, "from Mordor," they all shivered at the name.
"Illuvitar help us... Eru help us... Valar help us! We need all the help we can get in this dark time," said a third, and the other two nodded.

Not far from the three guards, a man hooded and cloaked and clad in worn leather boots, riding trousers, a red tunic under a dark blue vest, and black gloves, huddled in a corner out of the storm, listening.

"Have you heard the group of elves from Rivendell have set out to Mordor?" anounced the first guard.
"Why?" Asked the third. "It's a fool's arrend if you tell me."
"They plan to take down this new Dark Lord. I had heard there had been a terrible battle there," Said the first.
"Then Illuvitar, Eru, and Valar need to be with them more than us," said the third, his companions nodded in agreement...

((sorry for the long post... my new character is the hooded man listening... we'll meet him rightfully when the group gets to the border of Gondor...))
