It was midnight for the group riding to Mordor. Half of them were half asleep from days of straght riding. Rain was leaning forward in the saddle, eyes closed, when a familiar sound wizzed passed her ear. She looked over abrutly to see an arrow land in the dirt. Soon anotherone hit her in the shoulder, opposite side of her body as her heart. She looked up abrutly to see a lone rider pull back the string of his bow with a third arrow. This time he was bound to hit his target...

Gernhart looked up and saw what Rain saw. " everyone ready themselfs for battle." he said. just as a procaution even iff they were about to ride into a battle. or have one droped upon them. Gernhart pulled out his sword.
Crandol pulled out his bow.


"please..just, Raelyn." she cringed as she called her princess. that was a tittle she hated. " who...is your friend?" she asked steping a little closer.

Rain quickly took out her bow, and pulled an arrow from her quiver on her back. She then kicked Morgalad into a gallop.

The stranger at the top of the hill shot another arrow towards Rain. And yet another.

Rain shot an arrow, but it didn't hit it's mark: the head. Instead, it nicked his hood, pulling in off of his head revealing a weathered face, unshaven face. Handsome features, and long ragged hair. And brown eyes that seemed glazed over.

The stranger shot at Rain again as she neared him.

Morgalad ran right into the stranger's horse, knocking him off of it. The stranger drew his sword, and went to attack Rain, who had been flung off of her horse and lay on the groun. He got her across the back before she unsheethed her sword and blocked another blow before the stranger knicked her fingers and sent her sword flying...

"Rain!" Sarien yelled. She leapt off Aurous and shot towards the stranger, sword unsheathed.

Rain called out in pain, and tackled the stranger, knocking his sword away, and started punching him mercilessly. The stranger kicked Rain off of him, and got up, whiping his bleeding nose with the back of his hand. Then he started luaphing as Rain scrambled to her feet, muscles aching from riding so much and then this sudden battle...

Gernhart and Crandol rode over to the three and had their swords out ready to fight. Gernhart had the man covered from behind. he knew Rain could take care of herself. this was oviously her battle. he let her have it.

She kept a keen eyes on the man, especially his eyes. She circled to grab her sword back, as the stranger kept luaphing. Rain tackled him again, and held her sword to his throat.
"Who are you?" she asked him. The stranger kept luaphing. Rain punched him. "You wear Gondorian garmets, who are you, and why to do pick a fight with me?" she nearly yelled.
"Aye, I am Gondorian," he said, between bursts of luaphter. With a sigh, Rain knocked him on the side of the head with the hilt of her sword, knocking the man unconsious...

Rain stood up, and glanced at Serien, before she looked down at the Gondorian infront of them, then at his horse. A strong bay. Wasted with a master like that, she thought.
"Someone please tie him up... do not kill him," she informed, then turned to go catch the man's horse, and her own horse...

Gernhart looked at Crandol and nodded for him to do what Rain had said to do. Gernhart walked over to Sarien. " does she know him?" he asked.

Crandol tied the man tightly to a near by tree and fed the mans horse. it looked hungry. or so it did to Crandol.

"He's a Gondorian, that's for sure. And he seemed possesed," she winced, "This new evil seems even stronger than I thought. Maybe if we can get this man un-possesed, we can use him as leverage to get around Mordor easier..."
