Eleshna shielded her eyes against the light so she could better look across the lands through which the traveled, a smile holding to her face as she greeted the morning, so different and at ease than the night had been for her.

Jaden was also glad for the light. It gave security that the night kept back. The warm sun shining down warmed the air quickly, releaving the cold of it's hold on the night.

Finally, after a long silence, Eleshna smiled, looking over the fields swaying in the gentle breeze. "Beautiful... like an endless sea, peaceful and calm..."

"Yes, it is." Jaden agreed as he looked out over the land. "Do you want to stop and eat or keep traveling?" Jaden asked after a moment.

"I think we can spare a stop," Eleshna murmured in response, her smile still held softly as a feeling of peacefulness came over her, driving away for the time being the fear that had her running.

"Alright." Jaden replied as Azher came to a stop. Jaden got off, and Azher went off to get some rest.

Eleshna leaped lightly down from Syndar, standing for a moment to lean against the steed and gaze across the lands as far as her eyes could see.

Finally she pulled away from the horse and sat amid the grass, her gaze set thoughtfully towards the ground, even though she still smiled.

Jaden got some of his dried provisions out to eat. It would be better if they didn't take the time to hunt this time. He brought the food over and sat down beside Eleshna, offereing her some.

Eleshna accepted the food and smiled, leaning against him slightly. She skillfully hid the feeling of unease, just as easily as anytime she had hidden the feeling when in villages.

Still, it pulled at her thoughts, causing her to be more aware, less off guard, and certainly less relaxed. Something still wasn't right, but even though she suspected it was the Shadows, she also felt it was something different, something to do with her reactions to things, her thoughts, but she kept silent about it...

Jaden put his arm around her as she leaned against him. Rubbnig his hand on her shoulder he could tell she was tens, and not relaxed.

Eleshna nodded, letting her smile fade slightly. "You know me too well..." she murmured. "I'm sorry... I'm just ... thinking of a few things. Back to the time when I used to be able to control what is now loose and wild among these lands..."

Her mind had indeed drifted to those times, but it also dwelled upon an entirely different feeling, one she couldn't seem to control, ever since she had seen the realm the Shadows dwelt in.
