" we don't know yet" Deawen answered Morwens question " but it won't be long now"
Deawen looked at Sen with an unsteady gaze " not by my leave Lord Sen but by yours" Deawen replied " sadly your words are true, yes I think it wise to keep moving.." Deawen nodded to Eston who ran off spoke to some officers and then in turn they ran to thier units and passed the word on. soon the phantoms began to file out in columms of two. " do you plan to ride with us? or with the storm? " Deawen asked.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Drads Forces were only a days march away from Deawen's he had a small number of phantoms with him but with Deawen's herd of horses and something eles that He thought would come in handy. it took six well biult horses to pull it was so heavy. Drad had also heard the news of the troubles at hand. he had even heard that Morwen of the westfolde was with Deawen and it pleased him to know Deawen was atleast staying out of trouble. But the news of Sen fighting in Deawen's stead made him worry. five years ago Deawen fought Drad for the leadership and won she proved herself worthy of the phantoms. he hoped they knew what they were doing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A tall man with green eyes and gold hair rode at the head of a Dragon tear column. he wore a countance of confidence and triumph. he was well armed his build was lean but sturdy. This was none other than Argo the Teacher of Adrod and Deawen he was not much older than Adrod who died at 26 Argo was 28. Deawen was merly a rose with thorns.after his plan of finding Deawen's weakness failed he began to strive for other ways to get rid of her. he would stop at nothing.

"Let me ride to them! I'm sure that they will stop their advance. At the very least, it would give mor time for planning and scheming," Morwen said rapidly. She had always been in good stead with the other commanders of Rohan. Whe waited for Deawen's answer.

*Sen nodded in reply to Deawen, and gave one shrill whistle; with that, the Storm was up and ready, walking at a steady pace, not yet taking to the shadows. It was strange how they could carry so much, for their packs were full, and still move as fast as they did. Sen shouted out to Raelun.*
Raelun, come here!
*Raelun was immediately by his side, a short step through the shadows bringing him near.*
What is it, Captain?
*Sen looked at Morwen for a second, and then spoke to both.*
Morwen, allow Raelun to travel with you as my representative. I have a few ties among the Rohirrim, and Raelun is more than capable if any fight came along. He will be my messenger, as well as your companion.
*Sen then turned to Deawen, and replied to her earlier question.*
My Storm are fine as they are; I will ride with you, if you wish it.

:blink: " Morwen you face being captured your self last I knew you took your armor that is a crime by rohan standards... if you are captured I cannot help you" Deawen said, Eston shifted as if making a desion " I doubt they will listen to you the phantoms are far to valuable to let pass...all it takes is an ambitious officer to chase after us and with argo ahead....I don't think you should go alone...or at all " Deawen explained Eston shifted again "I'll go with her..." he said softly Deawen didn't quite catch what he said " hmm?" Deawen asked " I will go with her " he said louder Deawen's expression changed " Oh well then it's settled i suppose" Deawen said as if a great burden was lifted then it rapidly changed to a schem
" I have a plan...." she announced " Morwen you and Eston will go to the rohirrim and let just say, give our "whereabouts"......" Deawen said bluntly

"Fine, then I will leave my armour here, take the standard, shield and my sword. Ah, yes, and my helmet. I wouldn't let them take that away," she said. "Alright, I'll be back!" With that she spurred Cam-Ria and galloped ahead of the column, whether her 'guards' followed or not. Her standard slapped in the wind as she crested a small rise. She could see the familiar lines of the Rohirric cavalry.

" Orome's Speed to you!" Deawen shouted to morwen Deawen caught Eston by the arm as he was just about to follow " if any thing and I mean ANYTHING happens to her you answer for it..." Deawen warned Eston scowled in reply Deawen released Eston. Just before charging off Eston scowled at Raelun then his horse could stand it no more and galloped down the column. Deawen's Horse Snorted and began 'dancing' about wanting to follow his companions. Deawen held him back he started bouncing up on his hind legs trying to rear atlast one final bounce and he was up!
Deawen circled Bredol once around to calm him but even Aernel began to whine
" we better get movong or we'll be left behind by our own soldiers" Deawen laughed and circled around Sen and went down the hill at a smooth gait. she cantered down the column just as the phantoms finished cheering Morwen and Eston down the line. cheers rang out again as Deawen ad Sen passed a sense of tension was present but not strong.

*Sen nodded to Raelun, and he stepped back into the shaddows, running after the two riders, invisible to the naked eye in the realm of the shadows. He called over Flarenath, and then mounted him quickly and rode after Deawen.*

Morwen vaguely heard the commander yell. The trotting forces stopped immediately. Morwen yelled into the breeze, "Westu hal! Ic gretan ealleow in frið! Hwa ge-lædan eow? (Be well! I greet you all in peace! Who is your leader?)" As she waited for an answer, she saw Eston approaching. He seemed bit frazzled.

Deawen set the course and speed. the phantoms horses were going at an incredible smooth gait at a high speed (known as a largo) Deawen wanted to buy enough time to get away to leave rohan without blood shed.
after a few miles Deawen slowed them down to trot. they rode in thier two columns banners and all.
" what was your childhood like?" Deawen asked Sen suddenly.

Morwen smiled as she saw a figure in red with a white shield move out from the surrounding green. "Of all places! Morwen, it is good to see you!" he yelled, raising his spear. Morwen rode out to him and they clasped hands. "It is good to see you as well, Fraeth, but I'm afraid I'm not here for pleasantries. I'm here to warn you to stop following the Phantoms. They are backed by the Storm, who is, in fact, supported directly by Lord Denethor himself," she said, not sure if she was lying or not. "As your friend, tell Wormt - , um, Grima, that you were unable to track us down." Fraeth shook his head. "No, Morwen, I can't. This is a serious charge. There may be connections between Lady Deawen and the attacks on the Westfold." Morwen rolled her eyes and rebutted, "Deawen was born in the Westfold and has property there. Why would she burn it to the ground?" Fraeth was shocked; "I had no idea! Nonetheless, Grima still wishes her in captivity." Morwen looked at him straight in the eye and said solemnly, "You will not want to follow us. We are going to Lothlorien. Would you risk that on all your troops?" He turned pale. "No. But I will intercept you all before you get there. Morwen, don't make this difficult. Leave the Phantoms, come with us, come home." Morwen shook her head, turned, and rode away.

Eston stood behind Morwen at a respectful distance but still close enough if the need arose. He too thought it absurd that this soldeir thought Lady Deawen with connections to the westfolde but he couldn't help but inquire.." Why would she be blamed for the westfolde?" he asked in a normal tone ( I have to godmodd alittle Morwen) Fraeth looked at eston who had changed out of his armor to a simple green tunic. " Her banner was seen as the wesfolde was burning." it was puzzleing at first but Eston knew the answer or atleast two possibilities this was argo's work or Deawen had honestly passed rohan and assocaited with the burning.
Eston nodded and rode after Morwen. " Morwen undaeth beufo enlein" (morwen they will follow us ) " we must not lead them to Deawen, she doesn want a fight but if she feels threaten she is not afriad to kill to get away. She has done it before....' Eston said he was alittle ashamed of Deawen actions but he also knew why she fought so bitterly. they passed a scout and Eston gave the new tidings warning the scout to take the log way to Deawen to elude rohiricc scouts.

Ahead the phantoms moved on in silence all felt the tension battle was carried on the wind Horses stamped ready to charge into an imaginary battle. a scout reported once again out of breath " the Rohirrim still follow they don't seem to be letting up if we do not move quickly we will be intercepted. Eston has sent word My lady the Rohirrim blame you for the Westfolde they plan to take you prisoner.."

Eston Nodded and began to head east.
far ahead in the distance Eston could just see the phantoms he turned his gaze farther west and somthing disturbed him " look" he said pointing to the distance a huge cloud of dust was rising and in the far north Argo's forces blockaded the way north. Eston turned towards the south the rohirrim were still advancing at a quick pace. Deawen was trapped.

the cloud of dust rumbled the earth shook in it's wake at first the phantoms were afraid of this cloud but out of the dust poured hundreds of horses from Deawen's herds. followed by Mounted soldiers in black they were phantoms but not Deawen's but Drads. Drad was a kind man in his thirties, he loved jokes and war Drad was the previous Leader of the Phantoms but beaten by Deawen he was always fond of her and never let anything happen to her. he rode like Deawen with dignigty and pride he wore a simple leather armor attire and a cloak. At his side was a boy no older than ten riding a large geldling. This was Hilam Deawen's squire or in Deawen's words " not my idea" Deawen didn't hate the boy but there was no fondness for either. Deawen was afriad to get emotionaly attached to him she thought it weak for her position.

*Sen made his decision quickly with the news. He had no time for chat; maybe when they had gotten safely to Lothlorien. Yet now it was a time for action. He quickly stopped his horse, and pulled out his armor. As he put it on, Raelun appeared next to him, and quickly gave him the specifics of the exchange. Sen gave his orders quickly.*
Raelun, take half of the Storm, and form a line between us and the Rohirrim. Use the Wall of Storms, but do not hurt the Rohirrim. Try to talk them down if you can. Only fight back if they strike you first, otherwise, do them no harm. They are friends, though they cannot see it right now. I will take the other half and crate a Wall against Adrod's forces, and there will be bloodshed there. I want to see the face of my enemy. I trust you can hold your side.
*Raelun towered over Sen, a full head taller and twice as wide, and smiled from ear to ear.*
With ease, Captain Sen. Fare well.
*Sen put his helmet on, the golden phoenix addorning the black metal.*
You know I will.
*Sen ran quickly to Deawen, and spoke to her, even as the Storm were moving, taking towering shields off their packs and fitting them to their arms.*
Deawen, I want you to take Flarenath, and your Phantoms, and make all speed to Lothlorien. We will provide a safe corridor to either side, and then a wall when you are clear. Ride hard, and do not look back. I will be there soon.
*Sen turned, and was off to join his men. black swords drawn and ready.*

Deawen was wide eyed when Sen gave his orders to her. " I can fight!" Deawen protested she spun her horse around to chase after him but Drad held her arm she turned fercily on him with the look of rage but his expression was soft and concerned " go to lothlorien get out of here..Lord Sen insists on your safety " Drad sighed Deawen relaxed slightly in a subtle submission " I can fight!" she said Again this time with force Drad shook his head " no if you are captured or killed what then? " he asked. Deawen took in a sharp breath " I will not be held from battle, I am not his wife.." Deawen replied Drad smiled slightly as a father would " protest all you want lass it won't get you far..." by now Deawen's was boiling with comptempt. Deawen turned to an officer and gave her commands " Phantoms ride out on the signal to lothlorien i want this exodus in full measure do not spare the horses" the officer bowed and the phantoms recived their orders. once everyone was on horse back the phantoms stood ready in ranks. Deawen had changed into her battle armor and helm the silver dragon reflected her mood fierce and dangerous. the officers rode in the front followed by the leader then the lesser officers then the rest Hilam had Flareneth and his horse. But Deawen was not at the head of the column She rode with the fiery of a dragon back towards Sen forces. she stopped mid way and turned to her Phantoms as in farewell. then rode to Sen, she dismounted and removed her helm her copper hair flowed and fluttered in the wind. she stood before Sen determined, " I am not going to let you have all the glory, not this time my Lord" she said forcfuly
