Aralas looked around, a bit scared. She stepped closer to Gandalf. "Gandalf, I think we're being watched," she said in a small voice. She looked at Anariel, who was already asleep. How could she possibly fall asleep in this place?

"The orcs came to Rohan. I was 12. They called all the children inside. I was mad, as I thought that I wasn't a child. I stayed out. The orcs found me and took me to Mordor. They kept me in a cell. Every day for three years they came in and gave me a choice: death or joining them. Every day for three years I said death. Then on my fifteenth birthday they came in ready to actually kill me. I freaked out and did what it took to survive. I joined," Anabel said sadly. "I was part of Sauron's army. Until I was rescued, by Gandalf. I fought for him."

Anariel looked into the eyes of her friend while she told the whole story. She knew that if she didn't meet eyes her friend would doubt their friendship. "I doubt that Boromir will be able to fight his desire to take the Ring. I'm really worried about him," Anariel said softly. "I am afraid for Gondor. I know I would die to save her. Our people are just lesser men now, and we hardly have any hope. Once... once I was almost captured by Orcs. They took one of my friends who was protecting me from them. He fought bravely, but- but it was not enough. They took him away. What happened to him then, I do not know," Anariel finished, tears falling down her face. She quickly wiped them away. Aralas looked at her friend in shock. "I-I'm so sorry," she stammered.
