*Sen turned as he heard the horse riding up behind him, and sighed as he saw Deawen unmounting. He heard her complaints with a quiet countenance, and then replied softly.*
Deawen, it is not a matter of glory, nor even of battle. The reason I sent you ahead is that you are the catalyst for these two forces that draw close even now. I hope to douse the fires of their anger, or at least that of Rohan. Your presence, though to me is welcomed, will do more harm than good in this situation. I do not wish to shed the blood of Rohan, but you being here might drive them to rash action. It is better if you fly to Lothlorien, so that the fiery anger of Rohan may be cooled against the Wall of Storms, and no one will die. Also, if Adrod sees you gone, then there is no reason to charge us on this side, and we may escape without a fight. So, Deawen, please. For my sake, and for the Storm's sake. Ride out to Lothlorien.
*Even then, the clanking of 500 tower shields being hooked together and driven into the ground in a solid wall was heard.*

Morwen stopped to look behind her. The Rohirrim were far off (thanks to Eston and her swift horses), and she could see a shadowy line forming between where the bulk of the Deawen's forces lay and the Rohirrim. Even further away, she could just make out a motly force, mounted and armed, also cut off by a thin line of shadow. At that sight, she began to where Deawen was. Eston saw this, stopped suddenly and yelled, "What are you doing? We need to go!" Morwen ignored him and kept going. Eston mouthed a quick curse against women before following her back to the camp.

:blink: " you underestimate him! " Deawen hissed " he will attack the storm if i am here or with the phantoms! You tempt the Valar by saying you are invincible! " Deawen half shouted Sen words sank in she was only a spark to the kindel. Deawen stared at Sen for a long time " i will go...if that pleases you Lord Sen " She said lowering her eyes she turned to go but stopped a thought came to her. she turned and came closer to Sen she came close enough that only sen could hear her words and no other. " Do not make the Mistake I made in Bredena thinking all is well when it is nothing more than a trap... Argo Is Like Maleon.." Deawen whispered as a small tear fell down her pale cheek.

Drad Led the Phantoms through the narrow No mans land between Argo's forces and the Storm keeping close to the storm out of range of arrows from Argo's . The Phantoms rode with thier shields facing Argo their Horses in their famous gait their banners flowing behind them they headed east then they planned to head north around Argo.
From Argo's forces a gap widened six riders filed out and cantered towards the storms wall. One rode a dark bay horse his Armor as splendedly decorated as Deawen's. He Rode towards the back as if fearing an attack. he had green eyes and blonde Hair he looked alot like Adrod. This was Argo son of the blacksmith Goron Teacher of Deawen and Adrod though he was not much older than Deawen. the riders stopped and Argo Rode forward with pride and dignity.
" Men Of Lord Sen! We come here in peace! But On terms!" his horse began to sidestep to the left " Surrender Lady Deawen and We Will go! let there not be bloodshed over One Woman!" Argo Shouted his terms. Deawen looked at the Wall of shields Argos's voice echoed inside her head.
Eston followed Morwen down the hill just two scouts riders from the rohirrim crested the hill Eston Wheeled around and Drew his sword but thougth it better to flee than fight.

Morwen saw the flash of Eston's sword and yelled over her shoulder, "No! Put it away!" She spurred Cam-Ria on faster and leaned on his neck. They had to get away.

*A small gap opened in the line of shields, the hooks disengaging to allow Sen through. He faced Argo, unafraid of what he might try, the lances of the Storm bristling shoulder height from the wall of shields. He raised the crest of his helm, and unfastened the mouth guard, so that Argo could see his face.*
I am afraid I would need an explanation for that term. For I have no doubt that you are Argo, and I have heard things about you. State your reason. Yet know this; I will give no one up, and no one will left behind. You have yet to meet the Storm in battle, and you will rue the day you do. Speak! For I have matters that must be attended to.
*Sen's voice, through some strange power, or by sheer effect of the speaker, projected a commanding tone, that even caused Argo's soldiers to glance around. At the other shield wall, Raelun saw the two scouts, and called them down to him. His voice, too, had the strange tone of command, yet into his was placed more force, that caused the scouts to wheel around and ride to him, their hands and horses moving against there will. This shield wall did not bristle with the lances as the other did; this side was to be resolved peacefully, as Raelun was determined to accomplish as the scouts rode closer.*

Morwen slowed briefly to allow Eston to catch up. "We should split up! They will have two options: divide their forces and follow us weakened, or follow just one of us," she yelled over the sound of hundreds of galloping hooves. Eston yelled back, "NO! Division never turns out well!" Morwen smirked, "The Rohirrim are under a royal flag. They are not allowed to split up a royal force unless they have the direct consent of the King or one of his vassals. Their commander is neither the king nor a vassal. They can only follow one of us." Eston blanked, then banked to one side. Morwen laughed, and the chase was really on. She calculated that the Rohirrim would follow her, the traitor, instead of Eston. She headed directly towards Lothlorien.

Deawen stood in the center of the Storm she felt Sen and Raelun's commanding presence she hated that presence it was like electricity. Deawen put up her mental barriers She wasn't sure if Sen would try to use that force to make her go not likely but not impossible.

Argo calmly gazed at Sen unafriad " I'll fight you for something else now Hand over the Girl.." he said icely Argo gave his own commanding presence that was reassuring to his men. "Lord Sen we finaly meet, if you must know why the Terms Ask her...Ask her what witchcraft she knows or why she killed her brother? Im not here to gather a reward no.. This is a personal matter"
back inside the storm Deawen paced she heard every word spoken his words about her "witchcraft" mattered very little but the part about her Brother bothered her.

(OOC: Okay, what just happened here? When did Argo's force get between the Storm and everyone else? The Storm had formed a wall that blocked the Rohirrim and Argo's forces from our convoy, and they were moving as our convoy passed, to form a solid wall of shields...)

( ok I took it that there are three masses of armies correct?
if so the order should go somthing like this to the north is Argo in the middle is the Storm and to the south is the rohirrim Argo is not near the rohirrim Argo's forces stopped when the phantoms rode passed or sooner. the rohirrim are on the other side of the storm. I am waiting for Morwen to post what will happen with the rohirrim....i have no idea what a royal unit can do and what it can't.
Deawen just rode out of the storm and Argo's forces tried to spread their forces in a concave shape basicaly like this Argo's- ( l-storm l-rohirrim
so it looks like this (|l
understand?)

(OOC: Slightly; though there is a corridor made by the two halves of the Storm, so that you should just be able to ride through the corridor of empty space to safety. Yet the thing is, you escaped; the end result is still the same.)

(and walla saved face!)
Deawen noticed down the the line of the storm an opening between the storm Deawen began to fidgit she didn't want to leave Sen and advance Lothlorien alone nor did she want to take the phantoms into the forest She wanted to go alone so if the elves decided on the off chance Deawen was too risky to be realesed the phantoms were still free. the thought of the forest Gave Deawen chills. Deawen made up her mind and swung into the saddle Bredol stood still he whickered slightly as Deawen stroaked his copper neck. Deawen gaited down the line of the storm to the pass, at the end Deawen stopped and decided the best route. the land was open flat and covered in snow she would have no cover and galloping was too risky if her horse stumbled she would be thrown. her best route was to head east as far as possible then north to the phantoms.

(OOC: Okay, before I post, where in Middle Earth are we? I'm sitting here looking at the map, and it is further between Ithilien and Lothlorien. I need to know how far I need to mislead the Rohirrim.)

grabs map and protractor* hahah oh the wonder of RP! ok in real life terms we should only be fifty miles from minas tirith but in the Rp lets just pretend we had other camp sights and we about halfway through on the west emnet basicaly get to the wold because the last thing you want to do is get deeper into the Rohirimm cross the entwash and there we should lose them.)

Fraeth was in a terrible situation. Chasing an old friend across the frigid plains of West Rohan on the orders of a man he despised. Now, he was distraught with Morwen's course. If she continued straight north, she would end up in Fangorn. If she turned east, she would cross the Entwash. Either way, he would lose her. He cursed Grima and his attempts to compromise the army of Rohan.
~~~~~~~~~
The Entwash was now in sight. Cam-Ria was beginning to tire. They had been at a hard gallop for so long, it would have been impossible to maintain their speed unless Cam-Ria had been a Maeras. "Come on, just a bit further!" urged Morwen. He snorted, and with one last burst of speed, they crossed the last meadow between them and the river. Cam-Ria slowed and descended the muddy bank and splashed through the water. It was a great advantage, to ride alone, for large armies had to cross at fords. She had made it.
~~~~~~~~~
Fraeth saw her splash into the river and called a halt. He gave his orders to his squire and galloped off to try and catch up with Morwen. She saw him approach and raised her hand in salute. He called across the river, "My friend, thank Orome for swift horses. Fare well, may we meet under peaceful skies!" He turned and rode off. It was the last time she ever saw him.

Deawen urged bredol into a slow gait. first east she picked up the pace so they were pacing. she went over a hill and headed North in a faster gait. as Deawen passed Argo's forces from a distance she could still see Argo's formation. something was not right with Argo's forces had they seen her? or was it discontent? their horses stamped and shoke some even broke the ranks. Deawen watched carefuly she suddenly saw a rider from the west come charging down the hill. the rider was cloaked heavily a few horses in Argo's ranks reared up. Argo's bodygaurds even spun around to look at this rider three of them chased after the rider. Deawen rode down the hill away from the armies, she rode towards the phantoms. just as she reached the phantoms the other rider crested the hill followed by the three bodyguards. But the other three stopped not daring to appraoch Deawen's Finest. Deawen was warmly greeted but she was more focused on the approaching rider. who ever it was was a phantom and a skilled one at that. Deawen smiled it was Eston it had to be he alwyas rode with pride! the rider dismounted and threw back the hood of his cloak. Deawen took a step back and drew her sword. a cold glare came from her the phantoms too responded by surrounding Deawen. " Argo" Deawen hissed. the rider stood up straight his keen eyes only focus on Deawen. he was calm as always, he walked towards Deawen but was blocked by swords. he held out his right hand the phantoms symbol of Peace. Deawen grimaced and withdrew. Argo laughed " still defying your superoirs?" he asked Deawen snorted " Yes, what do you want?" Deawen snapped Argo's face brightened at the question " Terms Deawen I came for Terms. " he said with cheer " let me guess I am to surrender to you, I have already heard this one before Argo your Double told me" Argo smiled again " no! but I would rather we not talk here this is after all between us. " Argo said the phantoms looked from Deawen to Argo Deawen slowly nodded and the phantoms withdrew. argo held out his hand Again Deawen looked at his hand and tucked her hands into her sleeves ' Terms" she growled Argo only brightened " the duel Lord Sen is to fight me?" Deawen nodded " Fine i do hope you know if i win you are under my mercy Deawen " Deawen bristled but said nothing " terms...Im sure you know i wanted Sen to stop thinking he was to Meet the infamous Argo to keep him from interferring...Deawen I Am not here to harm you so stop reaching for that dagger" Argo Said calmly " What are your terms stop staling!" Deawen hissed " simple I will release Your bodygaurd and Friend Eston and Morwen of the westfolde go unharmed to Lothlorien if you ride with my riders" Deawen inside screamed with rage but showed no emotion. " why would i go into the snake pit willingly?" Deawen growled " SImple if you don't go I will have Morwen and Eston killed" Deawen stood thinking she was silient.
