Raelyn had been quiet for sometime of the jorney. she looked around she could feel the evil rising as whatever it was came closer to them. her evenstar began to glow dimly. she looked at Airmelo. Raelyn couldn't hide it. she was frightend and she didn't get scared very offten.

Airemelero realized that he had to do something. He dismounted, drew his sword and slowly walked towards the deep shadow under the tree. As he was advancing he felt fear rise inside of him but supressed it. Suddenly the shadow rode and moved towards Airemelero. He saw that it had to be a tall shape, cloaked in a dark coat. The shape drew its sword and lifted it to kill. Airemelero stood still. He was unable to move. His mind was unable to work...

Raelyn watched the shadow move. she watched airmelero freeze. "move" she wispered to him. when he didn't move she yelled it at him and jumped off the horse with her sword drawn.

The shadow hesitated as Raelyn approached. Airemelero's muscles obeyed to his will and dealt a quick stroke to the shape. It let out a terrible cry that made all their blood freeze and leaped off into the darkness.
Airemelero's sword fell out of his hand. He was unable to hold it for his arm had become numb. "It must have been a black rider. But this is impossible. How could that be?", he murmured.

Elenriel raised her head as she heard the bloodcurdling screech. "Nazgul." she murmured under her breath. "Noro lim, Turtegiel, noro lim. Others may be in danger." she urged the mare as she rode faster in the direction of the sound.

With last effort Airemelero sheathed his sword again and sat on the ground. All strength seemed to have left his body. He could barely move.
"Let us leave this place and hope this was the only black rider in mirkwood", he said and tried to get up and mount his horse but he collapsed as he rose. "I can't move...", he whispered and fell unconscious.

Raelyn ran to his side. she caught him before he could hit the ground but she fell under his weight. she looked around to see if anyone was near to help her. she would not dare yell out in these woods. evil could be lerking around every corner.

Lostariel stepped out of the forest with a slight smirk on her lips, then she raised a brow and knelt down next to Raelyn and Aire.

She grinned as she lit one of her arrows and put it into Aire's hand, making the hand that had touched the sword glow deeply red.

She looked up into the sky, murmured something and some leaves, loosened by only a few raindrops, fell down to his hand and extinguished the fire.

She stood up again and looked down at the two person on the ground, then whistled and mounted her horse, that had come.

Airemelero awoke and felt a sudden pain in his right hand. In the fading daylight he saw that it was burned. His arm was however not cold anymore but he was weak and couls still hardly move. He tried to stand up but his body shaked and would not obey him. In his mind he still heard the cry of the Nazgûl and horror took him. He fell to an uneasy sleep but would murmur all the time.

She rolled her eyes and looked at the weak body on the ground. With a sigh she dismounted her horse again, knelt down and picked him up, pulled him to a tree and covered him with some dirty leaves, then did the same with Raelyn.
Doing this she murmured: "Want to 'rescue the dwarves', eh? Two weaklings under dirty ... dirt. Oh yeah, that will be great.." She rolled her eyes again, then lit up the leaves and grinned, enjoying the view of the burning leaves and the two sleeping persons. With a wave the fire stopped. She sat down next to them, leaned against the tree and lit up her pipe. Then she whistled as loud and high as she could to wake them up.
