Holly raised her brow at Lairiel quizzically. She shook her head and continued to walk. Her eyes darted around her, looking for any movement. Her ears strained to hear any footsteps in the vicinity.

"There are none." she smiled crookedly, knowing what Holly was listening for. She let out a stream of smoke from her mouth after she puffed her pipe, then sniffed the air. "The next town is not far off."

(if you have any more charries you wanna add, go ahead, I'm thinking I might add one...might make it a bit more interesting )

"Better safe than sorry," she smiled back at Lairiel. "Smoking is bad for you, you know?" She stated, rather than asked, casually. Holly turned her attention back to the stream. She wandered up onto the bank.

(I might do too. Best you get to know all my charries. Although I am not sure who to use. *Digs through character file* Hmm... )

"I know." she said suddenly defensive. Everybody told her, but, she never coughed or got sick, she she was good. They kept walking and soon the town came into view.

Holly started at the defensive tone. She frowed as she continued to walk. Note to self: Do not chide your companions on their habits. She thought to herself. "Sorry," she murmured.

"Don't be sorry." she said not unkindly. She had gotten defensive quickly, she knew. "'twas my mistake of becoming defensive."

"It is alright," she said quietly as she continued to walk. She spotted the town nearing up on the horizon. Holly stepped into the stream and walked through it, hiding her tracks once more.

Lairiel watched with an amused smile. She puffed again on her pipe. As they neared the small, port sized town, she sees someone running, the lower half of their face covered by a bandana. It seemed to be a young lad, and there were guards chasing this lad, shouting something about a theif.

Lairelosse ran through the streets, her violet eyes twinkling above her bandana mask, the big red feather bobbing comically on her hat as she ran, the pouches of gold she had stolen bounced on her thigh as she ran. She was thankful she could look like a guy.

Holly spotted the action too, she paused in her steps. "Perhaps we should keep going?" She glanced to Lairiel trying to guage her feelings on the scene in front of her.

Lairiel chuckled "No." she pulled Holly behind a building she knew the lad would pass by, and waited, motioning for Holly to be silent.

Lairelosse kept running, laughing inwardly at the guards that could not catch her. Suddenly she felt herself being lifted from the ground by her collar, she squeaked and kicked her feet. Lairiel laughed in her deep, disguised man voice. "Looks like we have a theif on our hands, brother." Lairiel addressed Holly. Lairelosse struggled, and then huffed, crossing her arms as she dangled.

"True Theo," Holly said, looking up at the figure in Lairiel's hand. Holly was nervous to be conversing in front of another person. She was surprised to sense her distrust in humanity.

Lairiel pulled Lairelosse inside the stables and tied her hands behind her back. "Laddie, you should not steal." she said quietly and took the bags of money from Lairelosse's belt and tossed them to the guards that raced up. "I'll be keeping the lad, ye' can have the gold back."

Lairelosse groaned at this.

Holly moved to stand by the stable doors. She peered out into the streets. Her hood shadowing her eyes, but not preventing her from looking out. Holly watched as the figures in the street went about there business. There was a flash of a grey cloak. Beyond it there was a familiar tatooed skin. Holly gasped quietly, glancing round at Lairiel and the other figure. Her eyes darted back, the cloaked figure was gone. Had it been a figment of her imagination? Was her fear getting the better of her?"

"Hayden? What is it?" she asked, keeping a hold on the lad, her eyes narrowing.

Holly shook her head. "Nothing, Theo, nothing." She walked briskly to Lairiel's side. "What shall we do with this theif?" she asked menacingly.

"We're going to take the lad with us." she grinned. The perfect disguise. "What kind of coward hides their face? Hayden, take the bandana off."
