"KILI!" Kalli screamed. The troll turned his attention from Kili and Bilbo to Kalli. "Uh-oh," she said, frozen with fear.

"Don't hurt my friend!" Aranyë screamed and pointed a sword at the troll. But the troll simply picked both Aranyë and Kalli up. Aranyë screamed. Loud.

The troll talked with its companions, who let Kalli and Aranye down and tied them up in sacks. They did the same with Kili and Bilbo. She screamed as they tied her up. When they put her down next to Kili and Aranye, she said, "This rope's digging into my skin!" Fili rushed in, hearing the girls' screams, but before they could warn him, he was tied up in a sack, too.

"And YOU are too, for rushing in without looking first," Kalli retorted, defending her friend. "Hey, you're the insane one. If YOU didn't scream, Fili wouldn't have rushed in," Kili argued. "Uh, I screamed because of YOU, Kili!" Kalli countered. "You didn't need to scream!" Kili whispered furiously, spit flying everywhere. "Eeeeww!!" she said, disgusted.

"Guys, let's not fight," Aranyë begged, but she turned to Fili and muttered, "you're the stupid one." Then she turned to Bilbo. "You are the burglar so think of something!"

There was a rustle in the bushes, and before long all the dwarves were captured. "You blasted the whole plan, Kalli," Kili said. "No, YOU DID," Kalli exclaimed.

Just then the other dwarfs started coming in and the trolls tied Bombur in a sack and tossed him up in the air in Kalli's direction. She screamed. Bombur landed beside her, creating a wall between her and her cousin. She was so mad she wanted to scream her head off.

"Get off me!" Aranyë snapped irritably, but with good reason, because her entire second half was covered by Bombur's legs. But Bombur only looked at her helplessly. "Please?" Aranyë begged, her legs already going numb. "Someone, do something!" She was talking about Bombur but Bilbo stood up and spoke to the trolls. "Wait! You are making a terrible mistake!" he yelled.

Kalli looked up at Bilbo.
“You can’t reason with them, they’re half-wits!” Dori yelled.
"Half-wits? What does that make us?" Bofur said. Someone kicked him and he grunted. "Uh, I meant with the, uh, with, uh, with the seasoning," Bilbo replied. “What about the seasoning?” one of the trolls said. Bilbo clearly got his attention. "Well have you smelt them? You’re going to need something stronger than sage before you plate this lot up." Then Bilbo tried to make stuff up along the way. Kalli saw that Aranye was about to scream when one of the trolls got Bombur and almost stuck the dwarf in his mouth. Kalli screamed.

Bilbo began to mention parasites. All the dwarves protested, until Thorin kicked them. Then they began to hurriedly agree! "I have the biggest parasites of ALL!" yelled Aranyë.

Kalli looked at the trolls. "No, you don't, I DO! I've got them everywhere, my feet, my arms, and my guts!" she protested. The dwarfs argued about parasites when suddenly Gandalf came. "The dawn will take you all!" The sun peeked out over the trees and the trolls turned into stone. "Finally," Kalli said. "You don't say," Kili agreed. "Get us out of here!" one of the dwarves on a spit yelled. Kalli burst out laughing.

Erestia helped the dwarves get off the wheel, and said"thanks Bilbo! We would have died, and you guys, you should have had better sense about the parasites!"She grinned.

They found a cave and went inside. The smell was just awful, so awful that it made Aranye's eyes water, but they went inside. Gandalf informed them all that this was a troll hoard. "Be careful what you touch," he said. Soon, he and Thorin found two Elvish blades. Thorin was reluctant because he hated elves, but he kept his new sword. Aranye stood in a corner with nothing to do, but soon a gleam caught her eye. She walked over and found a pair of daggers. She glanced over her shoulder to make sure no one was looking, then stuffed them into her pack. Maybe Gandalf didn't want her taking stuff, but she was currently weaponless.

"Eh," Kalli said, tossing Ori her old axe and picked up a good-looking pair of knives. "Awesome," she breathed, unsheathing them and showing them to her friends and cousins. "Jealous?" she teased, catching the look on Fili's face. "Elvish, I reckon," she said. "Come on!" "Wait, Kalli. Something's coming," Thorin warned. "Stay together! Hurry, now! Arm yourselves!" Gandalf called. "Perfect time to test these out," Kalli said, winking at Kili. When they stepped out of the cave, she sighed and put her knives back. It was just Radagast.
