"Many have fallen..." Rain replied to the second new comer. She slid of her horse's back, and fell to her knees with a sad sigh. Thats when she noticed, for the second time, the maiden of foot.
"Hello... I am so sorry for almost running you over. I'm just... upset," she said, looking the girl up and down as she usually did. She stopped at her eyes. "your eyes. They seem sad. Did you loose someone at Helm's Deep?"

Elenriel studied Rain for a moment. She had seen that look of sorrow too often before. Slowly bowing her head, she remained silent-not wanting to intrude in a private conversation or a private sorrow. "I am sorry." she finally whispered. Not sure if the other maiden heard her.

Plus if your horse is of Mearas no wonder he can jusge distance." she said then watched the rider she had run into ask the person who was standing of she had lost someone in Helm's Deep.

Elenriel nodded as she dismounted Turtegiel. "Then let us hope that it will be one of the last to plague this land." A moment of silence passed between them before she spoke once more. "Have all the warriors returned?" she asked.

Turwaithiel shook her head. "Many are still there, cleaning up the mess. They sent me to find others to help them." Tur said, sighing. "I was the only they could spare, and was the least injured among the injured."

Elenriel felt her throat constrict at the news, lowering her gaze in sorrow. When will this madness cease? she thought to herself. "Mordor and Isengard shall pay for this." she muttered under her breath. She then looked at Turwaithiel. "Tell me friend, how is Prince Legolas? He was there was he not?" she asked, waiting on bated breath for her answer.

Rain listened to the conversation, then shakily got to her feet.
"I have been rude as well. I am Shieldmaiden Eruraina Lusseroch Eruseen of Rohan. And now fear that I am a widow..." she mumbled, and jumped back up onto Morgalad's back.
