Well! It looks like I'm getting are here (though I'm PM others) So I guess there's nothing to do but start!
Fearan looked over the plains, watching the sun set. In several places pools of water reflected the sun's last, burning rays, a stark contrast to the green plants that now, in the fading light, appeared black.
Slowly he turned back to camp. He couldn't help but notice how wet everything was: the ground, the air, his gear. Of course, it had been that way since he had arrived here, with only brief intremissions when his group had reached the highlands. He picked his way slowly back to the camp, as to keep himself as dry as possible. They were gaining on the orc band, but they needed rest. The day had been long and hard so so would tomorrow.

Deawen trudged through the awful water and marshy land she wasn't very quiet about it either. who was going to notice.. the frogs? she climbed up the bank of a land mass and slipped backwards falling into the water with a loud splash. she came up sputtering and swearing about haw she was soaked and cold and how she hated it here. Her horse followed losely behind her picking his way across the land masses. she was a scout and i very good scout on dry land but anything with water and she was toast. she headed back to camp still soaking wet.
(can my charrie be with your group Naur? I know she's human but that makes it alot easier on my part if she's with your group)

(Sure! That'd be great, Deawen.)
Fearan noticed Deawen sullenly trudging through deep water and let a small grin slip onto his face. "This is the worst of it, fortunatly" He called to her from slightly dryer land. "We're headed north, its dryer there" bowing his head lowto hide a lengthening smirk, he muttered "At least I hope", just loud enough for her human ears to hear.

(yay! )
" I hate it here I swear I saw a frog the size of me out there!" Deawen snorted and came up behind Fearan and pushed him in the pool of water before him. she fell on the land mass laughing " your wet!" she pointed while laughing alittle more. she tried to surpress her laughter and in it's stead a sweet and innocent face but the smile broke out again and she was back to laughing.

Fearan felt a split second of rage, but it vanished as his graceful, elveninstincs took over. He twisted, regained some lost balance, extended his hands....
He landed with his feet still on somewhat dry land (the dryest that could be found in this place) but shoulder deep in murky, luckwarm, stinky, marsh water. He slowly extracted himself from the marsh, careful to keep his sopping yet shirt from getting the rest of him sopping yet.
Once up and steady, he glared lightly at Deawen, a gleam in his eye. "Careful, human" He said with a laugh, "You'd best be careful. I'll catch you when you're sleeping!" He rung the water out of his tunic, wrinkling his nose at the distasteful oders that wafted up when he did. "Yes, lady. You'd best be very wary tonight." His smile backed him up. He wouldn't be cruel, per say, but this little shenanagan of hers would not go unoted.

Cora had traveled long hours in search of the Marshwardens who had set out on the trail of a horde of orcs. Only light gear did she bear, her sturdy longbow held in her left hand, leaving her well prepared with her right hand free to withdraw a dagger had the need come about.
A hood concealed her identity, and none could easily tell if she were man or woman, her height being just shy of 6'. Cora's intention was to join and aid the Marshwardens in their efforts, yet for some time it had proven difficult to navigate in the damp, marshy terrain, even for an experianced tracker. The sound of voices drifting to her, however, told her she was near.

" I'm terrified" Deawen said sarcasticaly hopping from one island to the next to her rolled up bedroll. she shed her cloak and laid it out to dry her horse turned up and stood on a small dry mound causualy munching on a plant watching Deawen and Fearan with mild interest. Deawen hopped to the next landmass nearly falling back into the water but saved by her light wieght and good balance. she sat next to the fire that they managed to kept alive (how she never understood) Deawen was simple she scouted she ate she slept she pulled pranks on everyone and not to mention avoiding orders. she laid out taking up over half the landmass she sighed like a bored child " I hate it here...it's smells" she sighed again blowing a loose strand of hair out of her face.
"and you smell" she added.
For a human she was very keen and quick her senses were sharper than most , her hearing ad sense of smell, she could quickly scent out an orc or an elf upwind she always claimed that elves smell like pines or flowers and orcs just smell. her eye sight wasn't as good it was alittle less than average but she made up for it with her hearing and sense of smell.
she sat up for a moment sniffing " something is coming" was all she said before laying back down.

((Whoops! I thought I posted my bio already! Well, here 'tis! lol))
Name: Calenor
Race: Elf
Age: 521
Appearance: Tall and slender, but still strong. Straight, light brown hair, green eyes.
personality: Usually quiet and calm, but friendly.
History: He was born in a small elven village. His father was killed by orcs when Calenor was young. Leaving his mother in his brother's care, Calenor left his home and joined the Marshwardens, wanting to avenge his father's death.
-------------------------------------
Calenor walked a short distance behind Fearan and Deawen, carefully avoiding the wetter patches of ground. He smiled at the banter between the two. "You best be terrified." He said to Deawen. "I have been the recipient of some of Fearan's 'revenge' before- it is not pleasant." Actually, the practical jokes between the two of them hadn't been painful, he just wanted to see Deawen's reaction.
He stiftened as Deawen annouced someone was coming. He put a hand on his sword- no harm in being careful.
