Anaryan ran to the door to the throne room. She stopped, then slowly entered the room. She bowed to King Arveleg, and nodded to Dagnir and Kanninwë. She turned to the King.
"My Lord, I bring urgent news. Rhudaur is being attacked, by the orcs." she closed her eyes, "Many have already died." Her blue eyes met the King's.

Dagnir turned to see his Sergeant Anaryan enter into the throne room. she said "My Lord, I bring urgent news. Rhudaur is being attacked, by the orcs."
Dagnir turned to the King and said "My Lord, I request permission to lead my 1st company into battle in Rhudaur, to help the Second East turn back the tide."
the King thougth about this and said "Very well Captain. You may have permission to go. I order you to aid the Second East's battalion in the defense of Rhudaur. If you are victorious, I ask you to meet Kanninwë at Amon Sul with your company. If you do not prevail and the second east is routed, bring as many troops as are left from the Second East and meet Kanninwë at amon sul with them as well. Do you understand captain?"
"Yes my Lord" said Dagnir bowing. At a gesture, Dagnir left the room, with Anaryan following her captain out of the throne room.

Lorwen snuck though a side door in the thrown room without being seen. She creeped over to Kanninwë, the leader of her Battilion, and wispered, "Any new news."

"Bring my horse.We are riding back to Amon Sul.We must be prepared if the Orcs attack the fortress."said Kanninwë to Lorwen then she turned to Dagnir."General if you need help send out messenger to us.I still keep 3rd,4th and 5th battalion in reserve.They are waiting for my return at Amon Sul."Kanninwë walked to Dagnir."I'm afraid that Rhudaur is lost-even if we stop the assault now.The only thing that could stop them is the fortress of Amon Sul.We must hold it!If it falls the Orcs can easily invade Cardolan and Arthedain."Kanninwë sighed."The Witch-King knows about the Palantir.The scouts reported that he is leading his armies to battle.He is coming for the Palantir."
In this moment a soldier came.He was leading Kanninwë's horse-Kelegwath.
"It's time for me to go.Captain."she bowed her head.She mounted her horse and said:"See you on the battlefield.We ride to Amon Sul!"
And she turned her horse and with her battalion left Fornost.

When she reached her, she was winded.

"Very well then.Bring her a horse!Welcome Venessiel,to the First East Battalion."
Kanninwë smiled.

As Dagnir saw Kanninwë leave, he touched his right fist to his breastplate in warriors slaute. He turned and saw Anaryan at his side, and at his back 100 of his men, the finest warriors that he had seen in many years, 1st company. He felt pride swell up in his chest.He lifted His axe and shouted " Men! We go to battle and war, and WE shall conquer!!!" The company roared its approval at this prospect.he continued "Fight hard for me, and I promise you all, every one that we will be drinking in the taverns of Rhudaur, piling up dead orcs and sending them back to the Witch King!!" The company beat its axes and swords against their shields and with that, at an unspoken signal, every warrior mounted up on their horse and beganto ride swiftly south to aid Rhudaur.
Though it may be too late...
