Deawen smiled and took his hand and she stepped out softly into the light
she practally was glowing in the light she was so pale

The elven woman lifted her head slightly more and watched carefully, gently brushing the strands of dark hair from her eyes. Her skin was gently stained with the sun, but still pale as an elf would be. Coraliaera stood and quietly, in a gentle and graceful manner, walked over towards them with a smile, the light streaming through the door catching to her deep red dress, the silver threading and embroidering gracing the long elegant sleeves and around the slim waist. "The day is clear and the air is gentle..." Her voice was quiet, quite fitting for her fair features, but her eyes held knowledge and age deep like wells, bottomless pools of bright green.

Hearing brisk footsteps behind her, she politely limped off to the side, despite the fact that the hallway she was in was rather large and airy. A high vaulted ceiling delved upwards with remarkably graceful craftsmenship, ancient but timeless. Eilwynn had seen such architectural structure before, but not here. As the footsteps grew louder by random instinct she looked up to see who it was who passed. A young man, grinning it seemed..or at least in his eyes, and holding a scroll. Her interest stopped as soon as it was fired, and her luminant amber optics averted back towards her feet as she limped along.

Her conditions seemed to oscillate depending on how much activity was being held, and she knew that by ignoring her orders she'd pay for it later. It was not a long walk down the sunlit halls, she was only going to the small balcony at the other end.

How perfect. She thought, spotting a single sunbathed chair overlooking a garden.

When Eilwynn finally stepped into the warm shaft of light, she inhaled the jasmine that wafted upwards from the garden, mixed with many other earthy aromas, but not too overwhelming. Despite the celestial scene, her mind wandered back to the gaunt Elf. He was in no doubt in her mind different than the others, not only because of his apparent condition, but because of his eyes. They did not take the hue of most others, they almost shared the same color as her own. It was an quiant thing..one she could not help but ponder absently on.

As his companion took a startled step backward, Aarisynta was pulled slightly; his balance knocked off it's centre.
It was with a step forward that he managed to stop himself falling; fingers clenching tight upon the wooden frame.
His large, dark eyes spanned across the lit pathway, bridging the gap toward the balcony.
Perhaps...
Only to there...and then back again.., there was no harm in it, nothing would harm him, nothing would sweep him away into a dustcloud of confusion, lose him in the beauty of the outside world.

Yet, what a place to be lost in...

He slipped a sketchpad and pencil from his jacket, small notebook before letting his fingers slide from Deawen's own; walking delicately, precariously across the marble stone bridge.
Feet placed themselves in front of one another deliberately; head bowed itself to cut out sunlight with a shaft of colourless hair...

"Perhaps...for just a moment..."

Cora stood and watched quietly as the young elf took a few steps, her mind wandering to wonder upon the actions and expressions of the frail youth. She returned her gaze to Deawen with a gentle smile. "Do not fear me, I mean no harm, and I am sorry if I have frightened you. My name is Coraliaera" She gave a light and careful curtsy, her elven gracefullness apparent, though a hidden secret lay within her crystaline green eyes.

"...."
Aarisynta merely nodded his agreement, wordless as he smiled not to Deawen, but to the beautiful day she embraced with her arms.
A natural beauty, untouched, untainted...ever changing, yet always pretty to perceive...

The first few steps were the hardest as he forced himself into the light, almost swept away by the brightness, engulfing him with celestial light, angelic in his wake as the slight figure drifted across toward the balcony, toward the dark-haired figure lingering in the shadow of shelter.

One could almost expect wings to unfurl from his back, clad in pure white...his soft hair curled about a pigmentless, slight face; those large dark eyes staring from beneath a mass of lashes...
He was beautiful, oh yes...
As beautiful as an angel..and as fragile as glass.

It was the slow soft muffle of feet against the stone floors that grabbed her attention from the gardens below. Her large luminant eyes darted towards the culprit of the sound..widening slightly as she realized who it was. Forcing herself up and ignoring the pain, Eilwynn nearly ran towards the young Elf as he struggled his way closer. She had been told of him once...informed that she might expect to see such an Elf in the library, and she had been informed of his mysterious illness.

Leaning most of her weight on her unbandaged leg, Eilwynn extended a slender hand from her long velvet sleeves, gently raising the young Elf's arm and wrapping it around her neck for support. She spoke not a word as she tried to stabalize both him and herself..an odd sight really, and shuffle steadily closer towards the sunlit balcony. She did not blame him for wanting to see such rare and yet subtle beauty..It was exactly what had drawn her from her own instruction. Fresh evergreen vines crept down the white-washed pillars in a spidery form, adorning the structure with blooming roses. The vines seemed to trail all around the curved railing, and fall down like a curtain to the ground.

In a voice that was no more harsh than it was comforting, Eilwynn muttered in a tone only loud enough for the two of them to hear, " You shouldn't be out here."

Cora let out a soft sigh and smiled lightly, the attention she gained short as was usual. She strolled quietly down the hall, her elfen shoes tapping lightly on the stone surface. Knowning not where she was headed, she merely paced the garden, pausing ever so often to return her glance towards the three youth not far off.

It was with a soft tinge to his cheeks that Aarisynta accepted the help, rushed to him so deliberately. He allowed her to lean upon him, more than she realised that she was doing so. Soft white hair was windswept, tossed by a playful breeze, ever threatening to merely whisk the young one away...

With thin feet, he set forward a few more steps, allowing themselves as a pair to support one another. It seemed an awkward thing in itself....although by will alone, the duo reached the balcony.

"...I know." he whispered back. Ashamed, slightly...although he had never asked to be made of glass.
"Although, I cannot stay hidden for my whole life, I would rather end it through the exposure of beauty, than stay trapped within a cage of caring arms..."

Those deep, liquid eyes danced across the pillars, across alabaster stone embraced so delicately with blossoms, rose petals scattered as a blanket to the cool floor upon which they stood.
Forgetting all that he felt, ignoring the pain in his freshly-healed fingertips, the boy let out a wistful sigh toward the tickling breeze.
"....s-such..beauty.." he whispered, mostly to himself as those frail fingers closed into the fabric of Eilwynn's sleeve.

Rich scent of roses drifted over the pair, wrapping them within a lingering perfume...

Vision blurred by the sharp sting of tears, watering those bright eyes to reflect the light in their new softness of expression.
He had stopped in his tracks, stopped dead and now stood still as an obstruction within the entrance to the balcony.

The beautiful could appreciate beauty, so it seemed.

The boy's head turned sharply from perceiving such beauty before him, in a rush of motion as he was pulled away with the startled sentence.

"...to go?" he asked worriedly.

Not yet, not yet..
He lingered, lingered within the arms of the one still holding him, still relying upon him for support. He could not tear himself away from this place, from this sanctum...
