((Whaha, thanks I'll just skip to later that night and come to your aid? I don't know alot about the Elsent and stuff. So it's hard to get involved ))
Firyal sat outside in the yard in the moonlight. Tainar had dismissed most of the slaves after dinner and as she didn't want to retreat yet to the room she shared with other slaves to sleep -as if she didn't feel locked up enough without sleeping in such a claustrofobic room-. She silently hummed a song of old but abruptly stopped when she heard footsteps running into the garden. Curious as she was, Firyal got up and walked into the darkness where she could make out a figure of a woman who looked quite familiar. "Dea?" she whispered. "What's going on?"

(correction Dea is not in the courtyard and I am not back peddling anymore. Dea is right now with Durga getting out trouble...no don't come to aid all will be resolved Dea will return shortly then you can jump in sound alright? as for the Elsent deal you don't have to understand the Elsents thats the point it's from the older gernaration so the younger gerneration doesn't understand all You need to know is the Elsent is one person who is going to return to claim the throne, and by doing such will plunge the city into tension and suspicion? understand that? because thats all you really need to know Right now I am focusing on the Kings struggle to remain in power)

Durga ran after Deawen, not staying to see how all of the soldiers would react. The blinding rage she had felt just a moment before was forgotten, for all she could think of was getting to the Ardol estate's gate. She slipped into the gate again, behind Deawen, and shut the door. Thankfully, the guard was either asleep, taking a break, or passed out drunk (having just recieved his wages). She kept it open just long enough for Dea to enter, and shut it as quietly as her shaking hands could. The rage returned. She turned, quivering, from the gate, her eyes wide and nostrils flared, yet her voice was fairly calm. "How DARE you follow me? I did not call for you, I did not wake you, I DISMISSED you! EXPLAIN yourself, you ROACH!" She stopped for a moment and breathed. "No, no...no, no, no. You are no roach. You are a spider, always weaving." She turned to leave and spat over her shoulder, "I don't want to see you again tonight!" She stormed quietly away. She saw some of the other slaves watching. She yelled at them, "Away!" By this time, her hair was coming out of its bindings, making her look a bit insane. She would not retreat until she had asserted her authority.

Dea took the insults quietly figureing she deserved it for going beyond her boundaries." I am sorry" as all she said her own hands trembled but not from rage but fright she had never experianced out of the house at night and encountering danger. she stood against the wall with her head bowed in submission. when Durga left, Dea slowly went to her weaving room and sat beind the cloth she didn't feel like weaving anymore the fact of being called a spider was something she took to heart she hated spiders. Dea moved to the courtyard where she saw Firyal she sat on her usual bench with a sigh. she didn't think Durga would tell her father that she went out of the house and Dea followed. but who was to say she wouldn't change the story around to make it seem like Dea was trying to run away insuring her punishment. Dea shuddered she had never been whiped but it looked and sounded painful.

Fine thats it we are continuing
Bredena woke slowly at dawn, the golden sun was just at the horizon, shops were opened, gates unlocked and the guard was changed.
the Ardol Houshold was bustling getting everything ready for Family to take a day trip to the palace. a cart was loaded bearing trunks of clothing for the family new dresses for the ladies at the dinners and gatherings as fashion dictated. Dea had not slept fearing the worst though she didn't look tired she was very jumpy. she entered Durga's room silently opening the shutters to let in light then drew water into a basin then left the room to a side room to pull out choices for Durga to chose what she wanted to wear to the palace. Downstairs Tainar had Assembled four slaves to with the family two girls and two men then several guards to go as well all were required to dress well so not to look out of place.

Durga awoke gleefully, having recieved a vision (surely from the Gods) of how to punish Dea. She rang a bell and waited for the little pitter-patter of Brama's feet to come and help her dress. She was giddy with new ideas on how she would torment the new slaves, but especially Deawen. For now, she would observe the pressing of peaches to be filtered and fermented into different types of alcohol. Once dressed, she went out to the peach fields, looking forward to the day.
(If some of you would like, I would love to "torment" your characters, perhaps give more of a motive for escape?)

Dea went back down the stairs where a slave met her on the way telling her she was to find Durga and Make sure she was ready for the trip to the palace...Dea sighed and went to the peach fields where she spotted Durga " you are requested to be ready to leave for the palace Lady Durga" Dea said timidly keeping her head as low as possible...

"Fine." She turned and strode into the house and shanged into the tight formal clothes that always accompanied trips to Koran. She tossed a small box at Deawen and said lightly, "I would watch yourself today. The soldiers are quite likely to be employed at the Palace." She smirked as she walked away, enjoying the tension in the air.

Deawen downcast her eyes she hoped Durga was wrong. BUt none the less Dea was nervous, the colors she wore that day were soft and mute not the usual bright shades and hues. Soon the Party was ready to leave..two litters were esembled for the ladies and two horses for the Men of the household as horses were a prized animal, expensive and only for the wealthy. Dea was on foot next to Durga's litter dreading each step closer to the palace was like knives stabbing her.
