"How about you go upstairs and wait until it is finished?" she flicked some water at him, laughing. "Scoot! Up those stairs before I'm forced to do something." she snapped a towel at him.

''What can you do? You are weak'' he laughed before he poked her side and lightly tapped her face, before running up the stairs, laughing loudly.
''Weak!'' he called down the stairs.

"Imp!" she called after him, shaking her head and laughing. She kept cooking, the fact that it was dark escaping her mind. She hummed some more, cheerfully. She jumped as a knock came at the door. She looked around, then went over and opened the door a crack. A tall, male elf stood there. His eyes were an icy blue, in contrast to his coal black hair. "Can I help you?" she said softly, not sure what to think of him. "Yes.." he offered a smile that looked right and unnatural "I was just sent to give you a message." he looks up at the sky as it thundered. "May I?" he indicated to the door. Nienna looked up "Of course! I'm sorry. Have a seat." she motioned to the table and turned to keep cooking.
"You'll have to excuse me, my husband is waiting for his supper." she smiled as she continued to cook "Now, what is your message?"
"This." a snarly voice said right behind her. She jumped and whirled, he was standing right behind her. His eyes were blood red and his teeth were long. She let out a strangled cry and grabbed the skillet, swinging it at his head. It hit with a 'bong' and the meat slid across the floor. The creature snarled and hissed in pain, and he fell over. She scrambled for the stairs, but cried out as he grabbed her ankle. She fell with a thump and kicked out.

Niko drank some ale until he heard a cry and a crash downstairs. Running downstairs he saw Nienna, trying to move away from an elf of abnormal appearance.
He threw his bottle at the elf before launching himself at him, getting him away from Nienna. He stood and faced the elf, ready to fight.

The elf stood, laughing and wiping blood from his chin. "You are no match to me, boy." her growled, his eyes flashing red. He launched himself at Niko, attacking him. Nienna scrambled away, her face white. The creature...it was him! The thing...he looked at her and smiled as he jumped at Niko.

Niko fell as the elf began to strike him, he powered out getting the upper hand as he then began to strike him, the elf was strong, of that there was no doubt, but Niko's adrenaline was helping him immensely. His hands found the elf's throat as he began to squeeze the life from him.
He wanted to take Nienna, Niko would die before he'd let that happen.

The elf merely chuckled, then shoved Niko off him, sending him flying across the room, he then approached Nienna. She scrambled away from him, but he lunged, catching her hair and yanking it.
"You will not enjoy our tune together," he brought her hair to his nose, smelling it "But I will." he began to drag her by her hair to the door. She kicked and screamed, struggling to get away.

Niko felt dazed as he hit the wall. He stood up, swaying slightly and saw Nienna being dragged away. He scrambled over and launched himself once again at the elf, desperately trying to choke the life from him.
''Guards!!'' he yelled. He needed other elves. A human was immediately at a disadvantage in a confrontation to an elf.

The elf laughed "Your guards have been disposed of. You don't think I would come here without a plan, did you?" he easily knocked Niko aside abd continued out the door. Nienna struggled, hitting his hand, his arm, anything.

Niko looked around in desperation for a weapon, his swords were upstairs, but then he saw it. His bottle of ale! It was broken now after he had thrown it at the elf but it would do as a weapon.
He scrambled towards it and picked it up, letting out a cry as he slashed at the elf's back.

The elf stiffened, and turned with a howl of rage, dropping Nienna. "You will pay for that!" he snarled, then, knowing he needed go tend his wounds, lept out the door and disappeared. Nienna got up and rushed to Niko, hugging him, trembling.

He reached for Nienna, hugging her back, overjoyed she was safe.
''You see, ale always helps'' he said in between his ragged breathing.
He sat up and looked out the door before closing it and bolting it.
''Should we alert our people? There has already been bloodshed and someone may know something.''

She looked out the window "They are already alerted." elves were running about. There was a knock at the door and Nienna jumped, but the voice that spoke was kind. "My king! Are you and your queen alright?" she relaxed when she heard the voice.

''You see, we are safe'' he opened the door and a she-elf entered, clearly troubled.
''We are alive, but barely so. Tell me, what do you know of an elf, of a strange look. Cold blue eyes and pitch black hair?''
He held Nienna and waited for a response. Surely someone must know something.

The she-elf looked stunned "did his eyes turn red?" Nienn covered her mouth and nodded at the question. The elf looked very troubled now. "That is Dante. He was an elf, yet was turned to the Vampyr race." she bowed and left. Nienna frowned "Vampyr?"

''What is a vampyre?''
He somehow had the feeling that his elven qualities weren't the worst of his worries. He held Nienna closer.
''Tell us everything you know about him''
